Acts 16:30-34
He then brought them out and asked, Sirs, what must I do to be
saved? They replied, believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved-you
and your household. Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and
to all the others in the house. At that hour of the night the jailer
took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and his family were
baptized. The jailer brought them into his house and set a meal before
them; he was filled with joy because he had come to believe in God-he and
his whole family.
1 Corinthians 15:3-4
For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance:
that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, that He was
buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the scriptures,
and that He appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve.

John 20:24-29
Now Thomas [called Didymus], one of the Twelve, was not with the
disciples when Jesus came. So the other disciples told him, we have
seen the Lord. But he said to them, unless I see the nail marks in
His hands and put my fingers where the nails were, and put my hand into
His side, I will not believe it. A week later His disciples were
in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were
locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, Peace be with you!
Then He said to Thomas, Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach
out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.
Thomas said to Him, My Lord and my God! Then Jesus said to him, Because
you have seen Me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen
and yet have believed.
Romans 10:9-10
That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe
in believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be
saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified,
and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
Encyclopedias account for a man named Jesus Christ who walked the
earth and was crucified. This is knowledge, fact and history.
To believe He is the Son of God who died for your sins and was risen on
the third day is faith.
