Here is a cabinet I made for a friend. She needed this to put her cook books away in her kitchen. She likes the south western look of this furniture.

I have made a complete bedroom set out of pine for another friend of mine. The set includes the above pictured head board, two night stands, one of which is shown above and one opened up below, a high boy dresser pictured also below and two armoires. Door and drawer pulls will be installed by my friend soon.

I usually spend a great deal of time looking for wood with lots of character in it. Using these character boards for raised panels and drawer faces makes the individual pieces really stand out and unique.

These armoires are the last pieces of the bedroom set. They will soon be coated with tung oil, when they are finished, the pictures will be up dated.

For the same friend I made this vanity and electrical panel cover out of cedar. Again I have used character boards in the raised panels to give their bathroom a beautiful and warm atmosphere.

I also, on occasion, take the opportunity to make things for our own home. Here you see the before and after pictures of our living room fireplace wall. As you can see an ugly wall has turned into a beautiful feature wall. The mantle, book shelves, lower cabinets and the pull out wood boxes which are under the hearth are all made from oak. I added walnut strips to the raised panels on the lower cabinet doors to give them an unique look. I also added black tile to the space between the mantle and the brass fireplace cover and installed track lighting in the ceiling.

I made this chair out of some willow branches.I intend to make more rustic furniture out of willow. On the right of the chair I made a plant stand from a slab of aspen and the base from an aspen tree trunk. On the left I made this plant stand from old fence posts, cut at different heights and I used old rusty wire to hold them together.

I made this coffee table out of oak and used fancy floor tile as a table top. It also has a pull out drawer for storage. I will be making matching end tables too.

I made the following two cabinets for a church. The first one shown above and below was to store table cloths used for church social functions. They wanted to eliminate the extra work of ironing out creases, folding of the table cloths and their protective plastic covers and to reduce the long walk to the storage area. Now they just have to fold the table cloths over a large wooden dowel in a portable easy to transport storage cabinet.

This cabinet was also designed with labour savings in mind. This cabinet allows the church ladies to bring all of their cups, saucers and small plates into the hall all at once which eliminated many trips back and forth from the kitchen. This cabinet is very easy to move from and store in their kitchen.
