~A Friendship Prayer~

"A Faithful Friend is a strong defense;
and he that hath found such an one hath found a treasure." Ecclesiastes 6:14

Dear Lord, Thank You for this wonderful friend that you have blessed me with. * You knew that I needed to hear your voice... So you sent her to me to share words of encouragement. * You knew that I needed to feel your comforting arms... So you sent her to me with a warm embrace * You knew that I needed your guidance... So you sent her to me to lovingly guide me * You knew that I needed someone to talk to... So you sent her to me with willing ears * You knew the trials that lay ahead for me... So you sent her to me equipped with your wisdom * You knew that I would get weary... So you sent her to me with your strength * You knew that Your love for me was SO big So you sent her to me to give some of it away * And you knew that my love for you would grow So you sent her to me to share it with * Thank you God for your Infinite Wisdom Thank you for this Unspeakable Gift * My Friend...

Maggie and I are living proof that Hearts really can meet across the Miles. When she and I met face to face for the first time, she was with several other women, yet I knew exactly which one was Maggie. We spent a wonderful afternoon together sipping iced teas in my family room. We talked, laughed and prayed together... I will always cherish that time. Thanks Maggie....
