If I am not mistaken, I am one of the descendants of Frederick Rhinehart Woltz as well. My full name is Mary Sue Woltz, although I go by my nickname which is "Suzi" or sometimes "Suzi Q." My sister is Jacqueline Woltz and I am the daughter of Ja k Woltz (deceased in 1994) who was born in 1935. I am 28 years old and just learned how to use the internet about 9 months ago at work. I now have internet and e-mail, thanks to my live-in boyfriend who is a "computer geek". I live in Dallas, TX and wo k at the nation's largest privately held long-distance company. I have been able to trace with certainty the link to Daniel Waltz, who died in 1836 in Washington Co., PA, leaving 5 minor children and 3 adult offsprin . In Beers' Bio of leading Washington Co. citizens, a James S. Waltz was listed as being the son of Abraham Waltz, who was the son of Daniel. (Our line is not descended from Abraham--he had only the one son.) It stated in the article that this Waltz fami y was related to the original F.R. Waltz, who came to this country in 1731. So far no definite proof. I keep hoping I will be able to connect all these Waltzs--am doing this for my sons benefit. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. |
