Winter Wonderland

OH MY! It seems that it is once more that time of the year!

It seems as though I have hardly recovered from Thanksgiving, until it is time to start again on Christmas.Of course there are those that are much more organized than myself and do a lot of their Christmas shopping months ahead, and even though I vow to myself, each year that I will do this, I always am doing many things at the last minute.

But in a way I really do not mind doing things that way around the Holiday Season, because I am really a part of everything else that is going on. It has been unusually warm here, and has not at all felt like Christmas, let alone December. But this morning we work up and ALAS, there was a dusting of light snow on the grass.Even though it was not enough for snowman,at least now it is beginning to feel like winter.

Now I can finally get in the mood for the beautiful Christmas lights that are sprinkled all over town.

AH! and yes to be able to listen to the beautiful Christmas music when you go into a store or restaurant rather than some rock group, is absolutly fantistic!

It is the time of year to send Christmas cards, and wrap presents and give those extra hugs that unfortunatly you do not have time the rest of the year to give. And yes it is the time of the year to make all of those Christmas goodies that cause us to gain so much, causing us to make all of those New Year resolutions to loose that weight, which we never keep.

So in the midst of this what is our wish to you?
The Guereca family prays that your family and yours are able to perhaps to slow down a little and perhaps look back on past Holidays and all of their memories. Also take the time to reflect on the many blessings that have been given you this season, and perhaps take some of these and share with those that are unfortunate. For it is in the giving that we are blessed.

We also hope that whether you be young or old, that you make new memories to carry with you the rest of your life, and we hope that these are happy memories.

Remember the purpose of the Holiday Season, and try to not get wrapped up in the receiving and the commercial aspect of it, which is so easy to do. Reflect on your family and the joys they have brought you and most of all reflect on the Christ Child and the reason for which He came into this earth.

MAY YOU HAVE THE HAPPIEST OF HOLIDAYS, AND MAY THE MEMORIES YOU MAKE THIS YEAR, BE CHERISHED FOR A LIFETIME.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS
