Deacon Thomas JUDD, son of Thomas, first settled in Cambridge MA, where he was
granted a homelot in Aug 1634 and became a Freeman May 25, 1636
Later in 1636 he joined Rev Thomas Hooker’s company to found the new settlement of
Hartford, and his name is on the Founders Monument on Capital Grounds in
Hartford
In 1644 he moved again, as one of the original founders of Farmington CT, where in 1652
he was one of the founding membersof the church, and held many offices
