SilverRose Farms
Sire/Dam Listing
![](file:///C:/HOLLY/Cuileanne/Cuileanne/Graphics/Celtics/celticanimalbar.gif)
Thank you for your interest in the horses
of SilverRose Farms. While we do currently have a small selection
of horses, all of them have immaculately researched pedigrees,
and we believe that you will enjoy considering them for your
pedigree needs.
Almost all of the horses on this list do
have real horses as their parents, and therefore your models will
have live horse bloodlines! While we do have a selection of
model-bred horses, they do eventually trace back to live horses.
BREEDING
CERTIFICATES:
Please inquire if you are interested in
usin SRF horses. Each of the breedings done at SRF comes complete
with a breeding certificate and a 5 or 6 generation pedigree
(where available), and therefore a "copying" charge
will be incurred. Each breeding is individually registered and
numbered with SRF. Email requests will be accepted temporarily
pending receipt of a SASE (for return of certificates). Please
state if you are a member of IPABRA.
BREEDING GUIDELINES:
Stallions
must be atleast 4 years old to have a foal crop and can
have unlimited foals each year up to age 23. Stallions can only
have foals from the First Foal Crop year and following.
Mares must be
atleast 5 years old to have a foal and can have one foal per year
up to age 20. Mares available year(s) are listed, and exceptions
will not be made.
If the year chosen as foal's birth year is
no longer available or inappropriate, SRF reserves the right to
choose an appropriate alternative year, unless requestor has
otherwise specified. If an inappropriate parent (wrong breed,

alternative. Years open will be listed, please choose from those

MISCELLANEOUS
INFORMATION:
- SilverRose follows conventional coat
color genetics. If you are unsure which colors result
from which, please inquire. If you chose inappropriately
colored parents, SRF reserves the right to make
appropriate substitutions. We will however, try to
consult you in all selections.
- We do use Bloodstock Only horses.
These can also be known as Details Only, and are
basically "Paper Horses". They are horses with
all of the details worked out, they just don't have
physical bodies. In most cases, they will eventually have
bodies, just currently they do not. I use Bloodstock Only
horses to flesh out my breeding program and they are
researched as painstakingly as the rest of my horses.
Since some people do not use Bloodstock Only horses in
their programs, I have noted them as "BSO" in
the listings. Since we do use BSO horses, I will also
accept "BSO" progeny provided that at some
point they will acquire a body ("at some point"
being taken very liberally!!)
- We allow both aging and nonaging
foals, but please specify for our records.
- SilverRose Farms strives to be as
realistic as possible.
- Please contact us if you have any
questions or concerns
- Due to recent inquiries, we
require a full contact name on any requests. If
you cannot trust us with a complete name upon your
contacting us, we will not approve any breeding requests.
