The best scenery in the world! On the left corner is Tappers Cove and the silo you see at the top of the rise is Leo Ryan's Dairy Farm. The connection to the High Speed Panoramic shot takes a few minutes to open but is worth the wait. This gives a very close up view. Once it opens use your slide bar to see the area around the North Side of the Bight. The Dial Up connections gives a more distant view.

Rescue At Sea Most Newfoundlanders know of mysterious stories. Torbaymen love to tell stories... of a wife who saw a vision of her husband while he was on the water fishing, or of the "ferries" who stole children in the woods. And I'll never forget, as a very young teenager, Mr. Will Molloy telling me the story of the "Ghost Fire Ship", which I saw that very night on my way home from the Molloy house. After running back to the Molloy's, half out of my mind, it took Mrs. Molloy some time to convince her husband to explain to me it was the reflection of the full moon shinning on the water which made a passing ship look as if it was burning! Here is a story about Robert Brace.
