A Personal Statement of Faith...

The teachings of our Creator, were originally conveyed through oral tradition. We also experience our Creator through life. Long ago, humanity began to put down the teachings of our Creator, and the lessons that were learned. The Hebrew people wrote a collection of books that reveal the relationship we experience with our Creator. This book is called the Bible... Scripture...

The Scriptures consist of sixty-six books of the Tanakh (Old Testament) and the Brit Hadasha (New Testament), the inspired Word of G-d, our Blessed Creator, without error in their original manuscripts, and are the revelation of the perfect will of G-d for the salvation of the world. The Scriptures are the final authority for all spiritual and personal matters.

YaHWeH, our Elohim, is The One Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer of all things seen and unseen... perfect, eternal, echad, and without equal.

Yahshua HaMashiach, walked among us in the flesh, and in total obedience to HaShem, as it is told in the Brit Hadasha. In His sacrifice, He paid the price for the sins of the world. (Yochanan 1:29) And in His resurrection, we share in His victory over eternal death.(Yochanan 3:16) Yahshua Ha Mashiach is The Living Torah, and we are called to be a Torah obedient people, faithful to HaShem, our Elohim, and separate from the worldly nations of this age.

It is through the Ruach HaKodesh, that the gifts of discernment, edification, faith, and love are bestowed upon the obedient children of HaShem according to His Perfect Will.

The faithful children of YaHWeH are to be a light unto the world, witnessing to His Power, Love, and Grace. Baruch HaShem, Adonai!!

I am not a teacher, however I do believe that we are called to share what we learn in life with others. It is in this spirit that I have put up this web site... to share what I have learned, and to learn from others. Most of the links found on these pages can share more, and much better than I can. One of those is HaY'Did Ministries with Cheryle and Tom Holeman. The Hay Did Center for Learning is in Kansas, USA, and is a dynamic organization. Cheryle is friendly and always ready to help. Another good place to visit if you want to learn more about the Hebraic Roots of the Christian faith is Hebraic Heritage Ministries International, Managed by Eddie Chumney in Ohio, USA. These are both educational in nature.

Some other Web Sites are Congregations of Messianic Believers. Congregation Ner Tamid is based in Nova Scotia, and is a friendly open Messianic Community. Another Messianic Congregation is the Congregation Ohr Chadash, which is located in Florida, USA. Some other good places to visit are Nurit Reshef's Page, a delightfully playful Web Site that also informs, and Star of David Translations, which is hosted by a lovely and warm hearted woman, Rhode Flores, who lives in Spain with her daughter Tamara. Another really exciting Web Site is THE MESSIANIC. COM Site is presented by the Messianic Bureau International, and managed by their president, Rabbi David Hargis. It is filled with information, links, has a discussion forum, and music!

There are also other organizations which I have listed on the Links Page. There are over twelve links, and the list is growing! All these pages are under constant construction, as new friends are made, and new organizations are established as well as finding some of the older organizations as I surf the Net.

I pray that your faith journey may be enhanced, edified, enlightened, and continue to grow closer to our Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer. And that you too, will be a light unto the world.

It has been brought to my attention that there are many single people out there who celebrate Shabbot alone. Being a single woman myself, I empathize with others who cook for one. Recently, I was shown a way to help fill the "empty spaces" that Shabbot for one may experience. The first is a web site for "Exotic and Not So Exotic Foods" on ChsnArrow's Home Page. Remember too, that we are never really alone... We are always in the presence of our Creator, and He is our most Honored Guest at The Shabbot Table.

Click on the picture below, for more on Shabbot.

This picture, Todah Rabbah to D'vorah, expresses how I believe Shabbot should be. In the absence of family members or friends, we can "invite" others to our table in prayer. In remembering others we put ourselves in "their presence" and they are then with us. I have been working on a "Erev Shabbot Service for Singles" and it is now up, just in time for Shabbos this Friday. May your life be rich in blessings... Shalom...
