Welcome, friends... to my home page. My name is Shoshannah Nichole. Every one is welcome here. In and amongst these pages, are thoughts of friendship that are extended to many people that I have met along life's path. Read with care... there may be a special word of friendship just for you.
This past year has brought many changes in my life. In January 2000, I moved from PA to Oklahoma to be with family. I settled in and enjoyed living with my Sister and her family. I learned much about my roots while there, and much about myself too. In the course of my research I have uncovered some Native roots. Seems we have some Native blood... Chickasaw, Choctaw, Creek, and Cherokee along with the Celtic European ancestry brought over from Northern Europe. It has been an interesting journey.
In July I met a fella from Delaware. His name is Barry. We met on line through AOL. In August he came out to Oklahoma to meet me. Like in the movies... our eyes met in the Wichita air port when he stepped from the gate and that was it! We've been together since. I came back to Delaware with him in September and we now live together in Lewes, DE. He is the love of my life truly! I hope to have some photos to put up after the holidays.
I just learned from my Sister in Oklahoma that our horse... "Light Horse" may have cancer. Please keep him in your prayers. He is a wonderful horse... a very special friend!
When I first made the website, I wanted to give information for those seeking such... and help others make connections in their spiritual journey. I still hope to do that but also, it is just for fun. Please sign the Guestbook on this page, and the other pages. This includes my old friends too... Life with...
El Nino... and La Nina!
Powwows! The Big Ponca Powwow was on August 25, 26, and 27th... in Ponca City, Oklahoma. It was great! Barry and I went and I danced with my brothers and sisters! On the last night of Powwow, as I was dancing a round dance, the farewell dance, I felt my Grandmothers presence, then my Aunt who had passed over many years ago... but then a third woman joined us... I thought it strange, she looked like my other Aunt who had chosen to stay home that evening. Barry and I left and went home... to my Aunts house. She had passed over that evening, and it was she who had joing us in the farewell dance. The dnace is a powerful prayer that connects us all... past and present. AHO
Enjoy life my friends... our time here is short. Love like you have never been hurt, Laugh 'till your belly hurts, and dance like no one is watching!
Many people are searching for the "right" spirituality. All to often, that journey leads them into places they were not meant to go. Some adopt strange cultures to satisfy their search. This I can say with all honesty and with love... Let yourself bloom spiritualy where you were planted. Creator knew what was best for you when you were given life. Live it true to yourself, with integrity and honesty. Never regret who you are, just be the best YOU that you can be!
