Nancy's Family Pioneer Sketches

Family Overview


Bill and Nancy Smith have three daughters: Annette, Allison, and Arrion. Annette is married to Larry Johnson (born in Arkansas, grew up in Illinois, his mother's maiden name in Reade). Allison is married to Prentice James, they live in Tucson, AZ (he grew up in Flint, MI). Arrion Smith lives in Dallas, TX. Nancy's maiden name is Bolger. Nancy follows these additional surnames: Dolan (2),Thomas, Weaver and Wilson, plus several others. Bill follows these surnames, among others: Kinnck, Miller, Preston, Butler, Sorensen, and Williams, also, Triplett, Lord, Lowery, Dallas, Shepherd, Bufkin, Fletcher, VanWormer. Some of Nancy's lines go back more than 16 generations in America, to the early 1600s. Bill's grandmother, Dorothy Sorensen, came from Denmark just after the turn of the 1900s. His great-grandmother Williams came from England only a few years earlier. The rest seem to have a good strong 150-200 years in the U.S. to do research on!
