First A Bit
About Lee Ann
I am 30, I enjoy doing counted cross-stitch,
collecting precious moments, watching Nebraska Cornhuskers Football and NASCAR racing..
But as you can probably tell already that my main passion in life is cats..Now about 4
years ago if someone told me I would own a cat I would have thought they were totally
nuts..I used to argue with my friends husband about dogs vs.
cats..(Now don't get me wrong i love dogs too..) He would tell me that it was better to
own a cat and I would say that it was better to own a dog..
Well after I moved to Texas from Nebraka the apartment I lived in had alot of stray
cats..It used to break my heart to see the cats eating from the garbage dumpster..So I
started to buy cat food for them instead.. Well one day it happened I meet up with a
veryfriendly cat on my way to the mailbox..The cat had a collar on but no tags..I knew
that this cat was to friedly to be a stray..I tried to find the owner but no one in my
complex knew who the cat belonged
to..So not wanting to leave the cat outside to the elements I took her in..Well the next
day the apt. manger called and told me that if I got the cat spayed I could keep her
without paying the pet deposit..I thought great this cat was meant to be mine..Therefore I
named her angel..And the next day
took her to the vet to get her shots and make arrangments to get her spayed.
Well all is going great right..Well the day before angel was to get spayed her owner
showed up..And knowing how much this precious cat meant to me I gave her back..That night
I cryed and cryed and cryed I felt like I had just lost a piece of myself..Well the next
day Russ (my fiance) told me hey this
lady at work has kittens but they are only four weeks old.. Well the next day we went to
see the kittens and we picked the kitten that we wanted. (I would have taken all four but
Russ thought we should start with one) Two weeks later Mistic came home..
And that is how I became
a proud cat owner..(By the way my friend's husband now owns a dog..) |
