BIOGRAPHY: Absalom was probably born in VA and migrated w/his father after the Revolutionary War. His wife's name is not yet known but she was born in SC about 1775. There were female children born in 1808, 1809, 1811 and a male born in 1813. The last male could be David who married Tabitha in 1834 or Samuel W. who married Sarah K. in 1835. Absalom came w/ his son to TN about 1826. He had a large family but the only absolute proof was the bond signed in NC for the marriage of his son, Absolom, and Annis Stillwell in 1824.
