of fur require alot more
than just food and water and love.
Any potential purchaser of a persian...
or any pet...needs to assess
whether they will be able to manage the kitten's
grooming and health care.
If unsure about these requirements, you will need to seek out
 the advice from an experienced,
reliable and honest breeder. Your veterinarian,
 if experienced with cats,
will be of great assistance to you, as well.
They will also be able to discuss
 any behavioral or medical issues.
Diet
I begin feeding Iams and Eukanuba brand kitten/cat foods...
as well as other holistic brand dry foods.
Between 6 and 12 weeks of age, I feed
primarily the canned Wellness kitten food and Avoderm canned supplemented
with chicken or turkey baby food. I feed dry food freely
and find that some kittens will prefer that to the canned.
they are usually eating only the dry food. The majority
of my adults eat Wellness Dry formulas, Eagle Pack Dry and Avoderm dry.
I highly recommend these high quality food
and see great results with weight gain and beautiful coats.
I do highly recommend feeding fresh cooked chicken, turkey,
salmon, chicken liver and raw beef as healthy alternative and treat.
 Flint River Ranch cat food.
I mix a cup of this with their canned Iams.
This healthful mix has resulted in improved appetites and weight gain.
I also use the Kenic Natural Vitamin - Mineral Supplement
mixed with equal parts of Vitamin C and F-Biotic.
This is sprinkled and then mixed
in their dry food with powdered goat's milk.
I purchase the powered goat's milk
 from Revival Animal Health.
These vitamins contain garlic, brewers yeast, kelp
and a B-vitamin complex fortified with
wheat germ, almond oil, kelp and ginseng.
and in my search I do post the information I find on this site.
So please feel free to check back.
You may even feel free to email me with questions.
Some of these foods cannot be purchased at Petsmart or other chain pet store.
Many of the smaller private pet stores
carry these foods or they can special order for you at no cost.
