Pennsylvania Dutch Cooking is a regional speciality in Lancaster County where I grew up. I learned to cook and have many PA Dutch recipes from my mom and grandma. Grandma was one of the best cooks in town. My mom has made prize winning desserts, especially Shoo-Fly Pie and Strawberry Pie. I have also included information about nutrition for kids and adults. I also have links to organizations of interest for anyone who had Polio, especially if you are experiencing any additional pain, muscle weakness, depression, or breathing problems.
