Hey there! I'm Shelbi Berrier and I'm glad you stopped by! If you are a new visitor, please enjoy your stay & sign my guestbook before you leave. If you are a return visitor, thanks for coming by again.... mommy and I made some changes, aren't they cool? I like them :o) I hope you do too...

Here are some things my mommy wants to tell you about me...
"Shelbi is a spectacular little girl who is smart, charming and beautiful to boot! With curly & almost platinum blonde hair, blue eyes & a great smile, you just can't resist her!"
Thanks mommy!

Daddy wasn't available for comment (he's tuckered out from his trip out with his friend, they saw FLYING FISH!!) *laugh* but I'm sure he would say I am the perfect daughter ever! *giggle* Maybe? Okay, so he might say I'm "really cool" but it is all the same to me :o)

Now, if you're interested, here are some of my favorite things;

T.V.: Nickelodeon's Blue's Clue's (I have my very own page just for Blue!), Arthur, Sesame Street, Maurice Sendac's "Little Bear" & of course Barney (Barney has his own page too!).
New! I now LOVE RugRats, DouG, Charlie Brown, Muppet Babies & "Are you afraid of the dark?"

Toys: Barbie dolls, Winnie the Pooh & Tigger, tea sets (for my little parties with mommy & daddy!) and lots more.
New! I love each and every one of my stuffed animals (there are THOUSANDS of them!!) and each one is very special to me! I really like the new slide mommy and daddy got me & I will be getting a play house on my birthday (daddy said so!) *grin ~ love ya daddy, mean it!*

Other stuff: Coloring, playing with and in water (I love making messes!), singing & being curious!
New! Catching ants on the porch (mommy hates it!) & watching for the turtle in the pond behind our home. I really love to go outside and play on the tire swing & slide! I like going to feed the duckies too, they "quack-quack" around me as I give them bread to eat (boy are they hungry!)... well, since I'm only two my attention has been brought to something else entirely so I'll let my mommy take you through the rest of my site...

Willie & Dyllan Blues Clues Award
Willie & Dyllan Award for Janaury 1998!

Shelbi began crawling around 6 months old, she mastered walking in her walker by 9 months old and was able to stand up holding on at about 11 months old. Just at that time she gave up her bottle on her own! I began her on whole milk and solid food with no problems. The day after her first birthday she began walking & hasn't stopped! She willingly gave up her "binky" at about 15 months old which shocked everyone! She still is hanging on to her blankie, which I don't mind at all. Shelbi began her "babble talk" at around 15 months also and by 18 months she was chattering away. She mastered eating with a fork and spoon at around 20 months or so. Unfortunately the potty training is not quite as easy as everything else. She knows what it is and that she needs to go but she doesn't want to sit on the potty to do it despite our little potty games, songs & never ending patience!

Some of Shelbi's most recent (7/4/98) accomplishments are:
New! ~ Shelbi is getting much better with her numbers... she knows all of her colors :o) and she is learning songs a lot better, remembering words, etc. We're tackling the potty thing full force and she's getting the hang of it finally! She has also mastered the art of being a great "con artist"! This isn't encouraged but you have to laugh on the inside at some of the things she can come up with to get what she wants! She is also much more interested in "looking at pretty pictures" with mommy on the computer... like daddy, like daughter I suppose! *grin* Shelbi also knows her full name, where she lives (Florida), mommy's name, daddy's name, how much she weighs and how old she is. We will be working on phone number & other stuff soon ~

Please be aware ~ NEVER LEAVE A CHILD UNATTENDED!

Past accomplishments
She can count from 1 to 10 and is beginning to recognize numbers & letters. She speaks in full sentences. She can sing along with songs now which is too neat! She currently knows The Itsy Bitsy Spider, Twinkle-twinkle little star, I love you (Barney) and just learned Jingle Bell Rock! She can also mimic playing the violin, guitar, drums & piano so well it's scary! Daddy has been a musician for 30+ years, so I guess it's just built in! :o)

Shelbi has so much potential & we intend to give her every possible opportunity to become whatever she desires. She is the best thing to ever happen to Steven and I, she's our little angel! I hope you enjoyed your visit! Please come again soon...
