Bella Mae is a half Davenport mare by Davenport stallion, HDavidjon.
Her mother was a grade Welsh pony, whom we called Dolly Mae.
Though "Jimmy" never produced any straight Davenport or Al Khamsa foals, his memory fondly lives on in the hearts of those who knew him.
As a child I rode "Bella" as often as I could and we had many grand adventures together.
Bella is not used for breeding, and at 12 and a half hands, she is a little bit small for me to ride her these days.
Her primary use in life these days is as a foal sitter, though sometime in the future I am sure she will give a child of mine as much fun and laughter as she gave to me.
