THE REGALAS OF LUBAO

This Ancestral Page is for all Regala's whose ancestry originates from the town of Lubao, Pampanga. I have an ongoing research on the church records of the St. Augustine Church in Lubao which spans the period 1621 to 1930. As of this writing I have located a baptismal entry for an Augustin Regala born on March 21, 1781 to Marcos Regala and Maria Mendoza. I have come to know of other Regalas from other Pampanga towns such as Bacolor, Sasmuan, Floridablanca, San Fernando, etc. I have also come to know Regalas from other parts of the country such as Albay and they have told me that they know of Regalas from Romblon. Today, there are Regalas all over the world. I have located Regalas living in Canada, in the U.S., particularly in the states of New York, Maryland, Nevada (Las Vegas), Texas (Houston) and Caifornia (Los Angeles), and in London, England.

It is my intention to gather as much information by word of mouth, research or other information concerning the various branches of the Regala Clan, wherever they may be. I hope that eventually this family tree will be able to assist all of us Regalas in tracing our ancestry to a common ancestor and how we are related to each other. It is my belief that all Regala families originally came from the town of Lubao, Pampanga. through this homepage I am hoping to reach all those who are members of Regala families and ask them to contact me, Armando A.B.
