Rainbo's End Obedience Training Classes, Inc. was established in 1994 in Highland Springs Va.
In 1998 the Inc was dropped, and we became just plain old "Rainbo's End Obedience Classes"
The Rainbo's End philosophy is "training with kindness." There really isn't any reason dog and handler shouldn't be able to enjoy the training process. Praise, incentives and treats go a long way towards that end.
If you're wondering why you should train your dog, we believe every dog deserves the kind of training that will make him an acceptable part of your community. It becomes more and more necessary becaus of the serious anti dog movement gaining momentum in society today.
Obedience training creates a line of communication between you and your dog. Let a competent obedience instructor help you understand your pet's behavior, and modify it to fit your lifestyle.
HOW DO YOU CHOOSE THE RIGHT SCHOOL OR INSTRUCTOR?
Simple, go and observe a class, or if there is no class presently in progress, speak with the instructor. If you are ever refused the opportunity to observe a class in actior or are discouraged from asking questions, run, don't walk, in the opposite direction. Be sure you're comfortable with the instructor and the methods used. All classes are not created equal! Presently absolutely no educational requirements or licensing is required.
Ask about the credentials of the instructor you'll be having if you sign up. Having trained his/her own dog is NOT an indicator that the instructor can teach YOU to train your dog, for in an obedience class, you're the one who'll be doing the work.
