Encore performance at RDOC at 16 yrs of age
Shannon was the grand old dame of Rainbo's End. Her puppies weren't confirmation quality, so she retired from the whelping box for the obedience ring and to the life as demonstration dog for my obedience classes. Oh how she loved to lord it over those "mere" beginner dogs. And as you can see she enjoyed competition right up until her 16th year. She was always a lady, but at the same time kept my puppies in line, and we even used her to teach manners to a few litter of german shepherd pups.
I miss her sorely.
