Hullo one and all--

The last year of the century, for us, has most certainly been an interesting, fast and action packed one. I experienced my first true Canadian snow storm last January (yes, Fred, I'm whining..lol) of which the snow from that storm did NOT disappear until April! Jon and I were married on March 12th......we bought a home soon after, and actually survived the remodeling/redecorating process and were still speaking civilly to one another by the time we moved in during June! KEWL! I've very definetly discovered the joys and heartaches of being a stepmonster....and have become an avid hockey "mom". I love watching the kids on the ice!!!!! We've survived Jon making a career change, which facilitates him being home more for Christopher. Our krack kitty...Harley has become quite the spoiled furball and is my bestest buddy......well, until the end of January she will be...then she's gonna be really pissed at me. We're adding a new baby to our family the end of January.....(don't worry guys, I'm too old for birthin babies) our new addition has 4 legs...and is a wittle boy Chocolate Lab, that we've already named Jake. We're looking forward to his arrival........anyone want a cat?????? hehehehehehehe

My son, his wife and my "sunshine girl" Hannah.... are expanding our family AGAIN....we have a new grandbaby due in April to bless our lives. I really LOVE this Namma stuff!! Keeps my sewing machine busy and my quilting hoop full! Now THAT really made me sound old......LMAO!

Jon and I are still honeymooning and plan on staying in that stage for the rest of our lives. If it wasn't for "parents" I never would have met NOVA_SS, the man that warms my heart and makes me glow. We are so glad to be able to include you all in our circle of family and friends.....cuz, you know.....the best is to be able to call your friends family, and have family that you consider to be friends. That is truly the best of both worlds.

I love you all.....thanks for keeping me company!

From our home to yours........have a wonderful and safe Holiday Season.

Linda & Jon (Hike & NOVA_SS)
