Depths  of Depression

                     From the depths of my depression
                       I reached out to find my Lord.
                I knew no one on earth could see me through.
               As I reached out for His hand, I heard Him say,
             "I understand, have no fear, for I am now with you;
                      Your burdens I'll lift from you."

                   As my heart began to fill with His love
                              I just stood still.
                   All my burdens were released from me.
                      A peace such as I've never known
                     Surrounded me, there in my home.
                    Now I know the Lord is here with me
                      As He guides me through my life,
                   And shares the pain that gives me strife.
                      I know He will be with me 'til I'm
                           With Him in eternity.
