Quiet Reflections

                              Have I wounded a soul today,
                         have I caused a tear to be shed.
                        Could I have done something else,
                             watched where I tread.

                         Have I hurt some ones feelings,
                           with an unkind act or deed.
                          Have I overlooked something,
                           did I miss someone in need

                            Have I been too busy,
                            with every day cares.
                          Has someone needed me,
                           to help ease their fears.

                          Have I not held out my hand,
                            to those who are in need.
                           Have I not followed Jesus
                            and planted a small seed.

                             Tho life's path is hard,
                             I can lighten the load.
                            Of some weary traveler,
                             down life's rocky road

                              To watch a smile,
                            beam through pure pain.
                            To watch pure sunlight,
                                 after the rain
