A SPECIAL FRIEND
When troubles come to claim your day, your strength all
seems to drain away.
When your spirit is burdened with doubt and dread,
Take time to read the Book I've read.
It tells you about a friend of mine who is there to call on anytime
There is no problem too great or small.
Just turn to Him; He will take them all.
My special friend listens patiently, never interrupts or condemns
me.
He never says what I should have done, as
He clears my troubles, one by one.
Earthly friends are really grand, though they may take a
different stand. You may have even heard them say, "This
would never have happened -- done my way."
An earthly friend is fine indeed, but you have a
special
l friend when you're in need -- someone to talk to and tell it all,
every secret both big and small.
Bring your sins from way down deep, and lay them at my best friend's feet.
He will always love you in His special way, no matter what you have to
say.
trust in Him. He will find a way to lift each burden you have today.
To find this special friend of mine is very easy if you take the time.
Just look to God and read His word; the message is there, if you haven't
heard.
Read Romans, Chapter Ten, Verses Nine and Ten.
There you will meet JESUS – MY SPECIAL FRIEND.
