2. Reddick Blake, Jr. was born ca. 1805-1827 and died ca. 1870 in Winn Parish, LA if these are the same Reddick Blakes. That has not been firmly established.
3. Samuel Blake was born ca. 1811 in Wake Co., NC and died after 1860 in Arkansas. He married Gilley Blake on August 13, 1829 in Wake Co., NC. Gilley was the daughter of Thomas Samuel Blake and Polly Clements. Gilley died after 1880. In 1830 Samuel Blake was in Wake Co., NC. He had a child born in TN in 1833. In 1840 he was in Trigg Co., KY, in 1850 he was in Newton Co., MO, in 1860 he was in Benton Co., AR and in 1870 and 1880 his family was in Madison Co., AR.

4. Sarah Jane Blake was born ca. 1811 in Wake Co., NC and died in 1886 in Maury Co., TN and is buried there. She married Fielding Edwards on June 30, 1832 in Wake Co., NC. In 1850 they lived in Lewis Co., TN and in 1860 and 1870 they were living in Maury Co., TN.

5. Mahala H. Blake was born ca. 1814 in NC and died January 13, 1896. She married Joseph Marcum in Wake Co., NC on February 21, 1858. Joseph was born ca. 1815. He was the son of Samuel Marcum. Per the census records, it appears that they had no children. According to a newspaper obituary, Joseph Marcum was deaf and was killed by a train while walking along the railroad tracks.
6. Mary Ann Blake was born ca. 1816 in Wake Co., NC and died September 21, 1888 in Brazos Co., TX. On November 15, 1830/32 she married Jesse Hicks in Wake Co., NC. Jesse died from cholera in Marshall Co., MS in 1849. Between 1850 and 1860 and probably in Marshall Co., MS, Mary Ann married Henry Bowden. Mary Ann and Henry had no children. She is buried in the Wixon Cemetery, Brazos Co., TX.

9. David Blake was born ca. 1823 in Wake Co., NC and died 1870-1880. Davy was a day laborer per the 1870 census. On December 1, 1847 in Wake Co., NC he married Crissa House. Crissa was born ca. 1816/1818, the daughter of William House and Elizabeth -?-.
a. Cady/Katy West Blake was born ca. 1848/1849. She lived with her House grandparents in the North Western District of Wake Co., NC in 1860. She married James H. Sykes on November 14, 1878 in Wake Co., NC.

10. Candis Blake was born ca. 1825. On December 23, 1844 in Wake Co., NC she married Joseph House, the son of William House and Elizabeth -?-. Joseph inherited his father's blacksmith tools per his father's will. Per the 1870 census, Joseph was a day laborer.
a. William Richard House was born September 2, 1846 in NC and died in 1903. He is buried in the IOF Cemetery in Farmersville, TX. He married Elizabeth Catherine Toumbs. Elizabeth waas the daughter of William Wiley Toumbs and Martha W. Perry. He does not appear in the 1870 census of NC.
