Well.........you've probably talked to me some time or other using IRC or ICQ and, very likely, the first thing that you asked was in the form of three magical letters........"a/s/l?" .I feel it is appropriate to start by answering such a basic question the IRC way!! : 21/m/Malta. :)
Anyway. Let me tell you something which is DIRECTLY about me.
My official name is Jonathan. With a three syllable name like mine, one tends to be called by other names, nicknames and aliases. Jon, Johnny, Jean, Gann, krowm and of course the famous Maltese word which fits one and all: "siehbi", which means "my friend". While I greatly appreciate it if one calls me "Jonathan", I don't mind "Jon" and of course, "KROWM" which is entirely my invention. One can tell a great deal about a person just by the way that person refers to him. My friend Karl Bartolo reminded me of my infamous nickname "Bela Bozza" (he swallowed a light bulb!!) which was later changed to "Bella Bozza" (beautiful light bulb!!) by my other friend Raina Zarb Adami. I beleive that the original nickname was invented by Mr. Alan Farrugia who is known to you and me as Il-Forkie.
ENOUGH SAID ABOUT THIS!!!
I was born the 23rd of March in the Year of the Lord 1981 at about 8:00 PM in Pieta', Malta to Ray and Lilian. I also have a sister of 19 called Audreyann who, on very rare occasions actually logs on to the IRC using the nickname "jesmin".
Being a Roman Catholic, I feel that religion plays a major role in one's life. All major religions have one important thing in common: They give us hope in a world which is not always the way it's meant to be, if you know what I mean.
I am now a 3rd Year Student of Pharmacy at University.
Stuff I like doing: Using IRC, reading, listening to the radio, especially discussion and phone-in programmes, swimming, singing, table-soccer and pool (billiards) , watching videos, and doing anything which is somehow pleasing, satisfying and/or relaxing. I also collect coins and drinking cans.
Stuff I DON'T like doing: Anything which falls under the phrase "Adventure for the hell of it" What we now have is a society which has become so bored with the world that it has created that it CANS fun. It has to CREATE its own adventure. Therefore it tries to give an impression of a dangerous world when we are as safe as can be. Those activities which today have almost become a sport in their own right like abseiling and skydiving, I would probably like to do some time or other. What I don't like is "The Great Outdoors" attitude. What is the fun of trekking for days on end in mud-weighted boots and sleeping in a tent that's bound to become damp some time or other? What joy is there in being away from home and far from roads, restaurants, cinemas and yes, why not, public conveniences! Why does everyone want to get away from it all? Those who know me in person might think that I am against this attitude because of the rather bad experiences I've had of this so called "adventuring" . However, I can't remember a time where my views about this were different. The experiences simply confirmed what I always thought!!
I'd like you to tell me what you think about this topic by writing to the address below. Put "Adventure" as the subject. I don't think I have found anyone who agrees with me yet. I don't care if no one really does. Actually I've read some "real-life" books which hint at it.
Greatest (probably only!!) Fear: Being buried alive. I hope to God that I would be long dead before I am stuffed into a coffin and buried with the rest!!

*It has been pointed out to me that this song is meant to be a tribute to heroin. Obviously, this person wanted to show me that he has superior knowledge with regards to music and I respect that, of course :-). In fact, I promised him there and then that I will give it a mention. I like "A Perfect Day" just because it gets me in a good mood and for no other reason at all.
Here I take the opportunity to say hello to all the the people who know me from IRC especially those logging onto the channel #Yellow. Also, a big hello goes to the people on #Malta, #Dublin, #Raland, #Capitalradio, #PN, #Hellraiser, #Filfla, #xejnsew and #trembil as well as to my friends on ICQ. The list has become enormous, by all standards, and I therefore cannot mention them all!!
