Measles Can be caught from other people. If you live in over crowded housing you are more likely to catch it. It can be treated simply with medicines, but if it goes untreated it can lead to complications such as pneumonia or a brain infection called encephalitis. It is more likely to harm you if you are already weak from a poor diet.

Tetanus is a disease caused by a bacterial toxin in the soil. It can be caught by a puncture wound, for example if you step on a nail. It can be deadly

Diphtheria usually occurs as an infection of the throat but can also affect the heart and brain. You can catch it off other people. It can kill you because it can stop you from breathing or cause heart failure or paralysis.

TB mainly affects the lungs. It damages the lining of the lungs and causes you to cough up blood. It is more common in overcrowded, unsanitary housing. The vaccine against this is called BCG.
