This admonition brought home to me quite clearly that we were entering a role reversal period in out lives.  Just yesterday, it seems, I was the one saying to her: "Take your gloves to school today,  The weather forecast is for snow  later,  Remember to hurry home after school today -- you have piano lessons."  Now she was the one parenting me! 

As more and more of today's population reaches the stage in life when some level of care giving is necessary, how fortunate ate those of us who have children who care enough to become parents.  While I felt a bit of resentment when I first observed it happening, I know that it is with love , which has some full circle so to speak, that out children are parenting my husband and me. 

When a child begins to remind you of appointments or something that needs to be done do not be upset.  Remind yourself that life is coming full circle, and not you are in the second phase of the "circle of love." 

While it is necessary for responsibilities within this circle of love to change as the years go by, they never cease.  a few years ago, I was not only parenting my children, but also my parents and in-laws as they faced the illnesses that often cone with age. 

Regardless of which phase of this circle you are living be comforted knowing that you are always in our Heavenly Gathers circle of love.
