Welcome to Jim and Linda's webpage! Jim took an early retirement from the Power Company in Southern California, after 35 years, and feeling we'd been in California long enough, we moved clear across the country to Pennsylvania! While in California, he was involved in all things car relatedbecause he had a cool 1956 Ford F-100 pickup. He belonged to the local Classic Car Club and participated in as many events as he could. (Want to see the terrific Teardrop Trailer Jim restored from the ground-up? Then check out this link. It was a 1947 Teardrop Trailer. that he bought in August of 1998. If you want to follow his step by step progress, check out that page. Now that he's completed that, used it for several car shows, he's done that and it is in it's new home! He no longer has it. Then we moved on to the next project ~ our 1967 Airstream Globetrotter! This was our mode of transportation across America! It, too, is in a new home, in Michigan!
Linda is involved with genealogy, quilting and eBay!
We both share the joy of watching our grandchildren grow and enjoying our family! One of our favorite pastimes is exploring our beautiful United States! We belong to two different travel clubs, and thru them meet and share experiences with other travelers in our age group. We stay in their homes, they stay in ours! We've had guests from as far away as Poland, Australia, Israel and British Columbia! It gives us a chance to have Bed and Breakfast experiences on a small scale! Several of our guests have requested a few of the recipes I've served, so I have added a recipe page. Interested in a recipe for Praline Topped French Toast Cassarole or a great Baked Oatmeal? Try these!
