Joseph Timmons was born in MD, 16 Jun 1804, the son of the Rev. Edward and Esther Timmons. He was married (1) on 05 Apr 1827, in Pickaway County, OH, to Mary Eleanor Bailey. She was born in DE on 23 Feb 1807, the daughter of William B. and Asenath Bailey. Mary passed away on 10 Jul 1847 in Green Hill, Warren County, IN, and is interred in the Davis Cemetery in Green Hill. Joseph was then married (2) on 26 Dec 1848 Honor to (Dawson) Franklin. She was born ca. 1811, in Dearborn County, IN, and was the widow of Joseph Franklin. Joseph passed away on 23 Nov 1867 in Green Hill, Warren County, IN, and is interred in the Davis Cemetery in Green Hill. Honor died aft. 1880 and is interred in the Davis Cemetery in Green Hill. Joseph and Mary were the parents of the following children:
