Ho Ho Ho!
Well,
I am almost finished.
The
shopping is done.
The
tree is up and looks fabulous!
The
house is decorated and looking pretty good,
even
if I do say so myself!
I
still have the baking to do...
But
there is plenty of time left so I'm not really worried.
No
matter how I complain,
I
still love Christmas.
It
has always been a wonderful time of year for me.
Yes,
it is a hardship!
But
I love the whole thing.
Trying
to sneak packages into the house
and
hide them so no one will know they are there.
The
smell of the kitchen when the orange rolls are baking Christmas Eve.
Making
fudge and divinity!
Baking
all the cookies and goodies for my family and friends.
Having
the house look so pretty with all the lights
and
the
things that remind me of years gone by.
For
the most part...
I
don't even mind the nervous breakdown that goes with it!
LOL!
What
I am leading up to is...
I
wanted to do something special this year for my family and friends.
Most
of you know that we have only had a computer since November of 1997,
and
have only been on the web for less than a year!
It
hardly seems possible.
I
am glad that I have had the time
and
the energy to put into making this Christmas site.
I
hope you will enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed making it for you.
Remember...
There
are a few surprises ahead,
So
fasten your seat belts!
All
my love...
M.B.
I
wanted to set this page up as an introduction to the next page.
The
image you see at the top of this page is one of my very favorites!
It
is by Linda Nelson Stocks
and
in my humble opinion, is a fine piece of art work.
It
has taken me all day to scan and resize the image in a gazillion pieces,
to
make it into an image map to share with you.
(the
whole picture was too large for my scanner)
It
is quite large, but to do the artist justice,
I
left it that way so that you would be able to fully enjoy it.
I tried to size it so that it will fit the whole screen from side to side,
but finally gave up the effort of making it fit exactly,
as I didn't want to loose any of the image itself.
!!WARNING!!
It is a large file and will take some time to load
So be prepared.
(I think it is worth it)
There
is nothing on the next page except the image.
No
text, nothing!
It
is a map and is set up with hyperlinks.
In
order to use it,
you
will have to run your mouse over it.
When
you see the little pointy thing turn into a hand...
Click
on it and it will take you to another page!
Here is a list of what to look
for...
If you want to return here use the front gate!
Knock
on the front door of the main house for Carol's Christmas Carols !
Open the windows downstairs to get to the kitchen!
Upstairs right window for Shani's Place!
Upstairs left window for Rick's Room!
My main
site is on the side porch.
(to the right of the house)
Wanna send me mail? Guess where!
Colleen's Nativity can be seen at the Church!
Go ice-skating at the pond with Nicky!
(it's on the right side of the map)
If you are looking
for a copy of Sweat Gazette, it's under the haystack!
Visit my friend Ladybug!
(she's in the woodshed next to the Gray Barn)
Visit my friend Sissi in the Chicken coup!
(in the front of the Gray Barn)
Waddle on out to the Gray Barn for Cretia's Ornaments!
Sandra's

(with the bunnies down front)
The prize of the collection is out in the Little Red Barn!
Hint: It's a Christmas gift so it doesn't look too Christmasy,
but ya just gotta see it! *grin*
Well, my friends, off you go!
Don't get lost now...
If you do, be sure to come back here and you'll be able to find your way.
May Peace and Love light your way...
Always,
~ Miranda ~
