This Quilt was One of Three on Display at the March....It was created by The Sunflower Birthmothers to offer to the Public an Opportunity to Know & Understand the Hearts of Searching Birthmothers who long to Find their Birthchildren. Each Square Represents either a Birthmother or an Adoptee In Search Of (ISO) their Birthfamily...Some say SEARCHING...Some say FOUND...Some say REUNITED. This was OUR way of Speaking out for Adoptee Civil Rights & Proclaiming OUR Desire to see the Adoptee have FULL ACCESS to their OWN Original Birthcertificates. "NO MORE SECRETS....NO MORE LIES" |
