Before you go ahead and apply for one of my site awards, there are a few rules that your site must follow to gain the award(s):
First and Foremost:
1. It is recommended that your site be in Geocities, but it is not required.
2. Your site must follow the Geocities Content guidelines. That means NO adult/XXX site allowed.
3. I will not be accepting applications for commercial sites. Unless, you have a personal page and you are selling something from within your residence or something of that nature.
4. Considerations will go first to sites that are registered in the Geocities Heartland neighborhood and its suburbs. Other sites always will be considered after the Geocities/Heartland criteria.
5. All sites must be family oriented. Keep it AT MOST PG-13 please!! Enough Said!
6. Must have a theme associated with your site (eg. Love, Family, Friends, Sports, etc.)
7. You must have at least one award on your site that another site has awarded to your site.
8. Sign my guestbook when you visit my page. It would be greatly appreciated if I knew you stopped by. =)
9. Any site that takes more than 25 minutes to load WILL be rejected from the award application pool. Time is precious. =)
10. Sites that have any of the following theme or themes on their page(s)would be considered priority:
b. Poetry and Art
c. Family and Friends
d. Hawai'i Pages
e. "Titanic" movie Pages
11. Site with just links and simple pages will not be considered.
12. If you have recieved an award from me recently and I have recieved another award application for another one of my awards, your site will be reviewed. You must update in the time between those two requests.
I'm going to be a little picky about who I give the award to so don't feel bad if you don't receive the award. I usually only give out about 3 to 5 awards a month. (I feel the award is better if "Awarded" to only a few good sites, then just given to everyone who applies for it.) Be sure to sign the guestbook, as I surf all the sites of the people who stop by mine. If you don't sign, how do I know you were here?
