2 1/2 cups sifted cake flour
1 2/3 cups sugar
3 1/2 tsps. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3/4 cup milk
2/3 cup oil
3 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add the 3/4 cup milk and the crisco. Beat for 2 minutes. Add eggs, the 1/2 cup milk & vanilla. Beat 2 more minutes. Pour into 2 round pans or a 13x9 pan or cupcake tin. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
