3/4 cup(1 1/2 sticks)butter
3 cups sugar
1 can(5 ozs.)evaporated milk
1 pkg.(12 ozs.)semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 jar(7 ozs.)marshmallow creme
1 cup chopped nuts(optional)
1 tsp. vanilla
Lightly grease 13x9 pan. Mix butter, sugar & milk in heavy saucepan, bring to a full boil, stirring constantly. Continue boiling 5 minutes or to 234 degrees then remove from heat. Gradually add chocolate chips until melted. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Pour into pan. Cool at room temperature then cut into squares. Makes 3 lbs.
