The Purpose of These Pages

Please feel free to use the information from these pages in your personal research, that is the purpose of this Resource Center.  Once again, I hope you will submit corrections you feel should be made, additional information, families of married Lindsley daughters, Lindsleys not yet linked to those already on these pages, and everything else you would like to see added to aid in research. 

It has been very difficult to decide which spellings will be the main ones for these pages.  I decided against posting LINSEY forms of the name.  This Center is for families who spelled their name with an "L" in the middle somewhere.  It is also for individuals and families who spelled their name differently, without the "L" but is related to at least one person who did. 

In other words, the people you find here will either had an "L" in the middle of their surname someplace or be related to somebody who did...even if it was a greatgrandparent etc.

The reason for this is the overwhelming number of individuals I would have to oversee if I opened this up to just any LINSEY spelling.  When somebody else feels up to the task I plan on linking to their resource page.

You will also find Women Lindsley's and their families.  If their Maiden or Widowed name was LINDSLEY etc. then they will be posted here with their husbands and children.
