Internet and transcribed marriage records list the last name of Nancy and Elizabeth Ross as Bass. The original handwritten records have the name as Ross. After research of census records, family stories, and the Evans' Family Bible, it is known that the name is Ross.

JOSEPHINE LUCINDA HART
DIED SEPT 26 1927

Mrs. Josephine L. Parham 68, well known resident of Columbus for may years died at her home 8608 Third Avenue at 9:10 o'clock Last night. She had been in feeble health for the Past two yrs. and was confined to her home for one month.
Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. O.D. Hutchins, and Mrs. Lucy Raiford. Both of Columbus, her mother Mrs. Frances C. Hart-four sisters Mrs. J. L. Sharp, Mrs. Fannie Herrin, Mrs. Sophroni Cash of Columbus, and Mrs. Hattie Pruitt of Atlanta.
Two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Parham was a devout member of the North Highland congregational Church, and made many friends by her kindly and charitable dispositions. Funeral services will be held at the home at 1 o'clock this afternoon following which the interment will occur at the family cemetery near Mulberry Grove in Harris County.

A daughter of the Late Robert and Josephine Hart Parham.
She lived in Columbus, Ga for the last 87 yrs. and was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include one Niece Julia Ellis, Two great nieces Mrs. Lucille McClure, Columbus, and MRs. Ruth Newcombe, Birmingham, Ala, and several great great Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services will be Tueday at 4 p.m. at the Striffler-Hamby 13th St. Chapel with the Rev Robert Sorrow, Officiating interment will follow in Riverdale Cemetery.
