*Cut out the pictures, glue onto construction paper or even regular paper to make a "new" greeting card, you can even add added decorations like ribbon or glitter.
*Many charities accept old
greeting cards. They use them to give out to children and the elderly
for craft projects. (St.
Jude's for example)
*Decorate brown paper bags
with cut out pictures from the greeting cards, then you can use the
decorated bag as a gift bag.
*Make Christmas
placemats. Get clear contact and put the pretty pictures down onto the
sticky
side of the contact. Then
put more pictures facing up and cover that side with contact also.
*You
can decoupage them onto virtually anything. Glass, ceramic, cardboard,
wood, tin, paper,
plastic, etc. Vases, pots, trays,
decorative dishes, the backside of a clear serving dish, furniture, gift
bags, boxes, baskets.
*Cut the fronts off, flip them over to the plain side, draw a line down the center and use them as Holiday Post Cards. Write or stamp a message on the left, address on the right. They're cheaper to mail then a full card with envelope.
*Framing a few of them in pretty gold frames and display them at Christmas time.
*Cut the pictures out and then
glue gathered lace onto the back and glue a nice bow to
the back of the card, attach
a gold cord and you have a pretty Victorian Tree Ornament.
