The Prose Collection

You wander amongst the mahogany tables and the towering bookcases, browsing. One small section of the shelves bears a sign, "Heather's Fiction."

As you draw nearer to that shelf to inspect its contents, a tall man in a dark cloak seems to materialize before your eyes. As if his sudden appearance weren't startling enough, his face is covered by a luminescent white mask.

He addresses you with a voice of unearthly beauty. "If it is prose you seek, there are places besides the Library where you may find it. Come to the Labyrinth and you shall see . . . " With that, he disappears as suddenly as he came. You think you hear the sound of an organ, far beneath your feet.

When you recover from your start, you continue to the bookcase and examine your options.
