This is a picture of Myles Kitchen's 1963-4 Lotus Cortina Mk.I. The base model of this car had a Weber Carburetta, a Twin Cam and it got to 60 mph in 9.9 seconds. It was a great car for its time and it still is.
As it is seen here, racing, they also used Cortina's for Racing in England and they also raced Cortina's at Bathurst in Australia.
I haved liked Cortina's for a while. The reason I do like them is because of the Twin Cam engine and the Weber Carburetta. It would have been a fast car!!
