FEB. 1999 Phillippe, Cumming, LaPaglia join ``Company Man'' NEW YORK (Variety) - Ryan Phillippe (''Playing by Heart'') and Tony Award winners Alan Cumming (''Cabaret'') and Anthony LaPaglia (''A View From a Bridge'') have joined the cast of Doug McGrath and Peter Askin's ``Company Man,'' currently lensing in and around Gotham.
Co-written and co-directed by McGrath (''Emma'') and Askin (''Hedwig and the Angry Inch''), ``Company Man'' also stars McGrath, Sigourney Weaver and John Turturro.
Set in the 1960s, pic tells the story of a high school grammar teacher who unwittingly finds himself in a plot to overthrow Fidel Castro.
``Company Man'' is being produced by GreeneStreet/SKE Films (''I'm Not Rappaport'') and WindDancer Films, best known for the hit comedy TV series ``Home Improvement.''
JUNE 1998: After spending most of the last year playing TONY Award winning "Eddie Carbone" in Michael Mayer's rendition of Arthur Miller's A View From The Bridge Anthony LaPaglia will move back to the big screen first with Sean Penn and Uma Thurman in Woody Allen's as yet untitled new movie that begins filming in September 1998.

SEPT. 1998LaPaglia is the starring role in Spike Lee's new movie titled "The Summer of Sam" with Co-nominee for the Tony John Leguizamo.

He's also lensing an Aussie film called "Looking fo Alibrandi" with Gretta Scacchi.

If that's not enough how about a new HBO flick called "Lansky"
