"I suggest we conduct a tachyon sweep of the nebula. It will
reveal the presence of any cloaked ships."Tuvok
"Cloaked ships?"Chakotay
"Yes. We should be extremely cautious this close to Klingon
space."Tuvok
"Tuvok, the Klingon Empire is on the other side of the galaxy."
B'Elanna
"Yes. Yes. You are right of course. I am uncertain as to why
I'd make such an obvious error."Tuvok
The Chute
(Harry walks into where he and Paris are staying and finds
Paris destroying a tool that is the only thing that can
get them out of the chute)
"What the hell are you doing?!"Harry angrily
"Stay back."Paris scared
"You've ruined it."Harry angrily
(Harry starts attacking Paris puching him, throwing him
against the wall, etc)
"This is mine. It's mine."Paris screams
(Harry starts screaming hysterically)
"Please! No, Harry! Please! Harry! No!"Paris screams
(Harry goes to hit Paris with the device that Paris had
destroyed. This device looks like a lead pipe)
"Go ahead, finish him."Man they are staying with in the chute
(Harry realizes what he is doing and leans against the wall)
"You wanted to kill him, didn't you."Man
"He's my best friend!"Harry
"No, that's where your wrong. He's too far gone to be your
friend. All he is now is a burden."Man
"That's not true!"Harry
"He eats your food, he ruined your device. He's given in to
the clamp. You've got to get rid of him before he brings you
down with him."Man
"Quiet!"Harry screams
The Swarm
"You have a big dinner date or something?" Paris
"What's that supposed to mean?"B'Elanna
"Well, You've been angling to get back to Voyager for about
two hours now. Just thought maybe there's a reason. Like Ensign
Bristow."Paris
"What?!" B'Elanna
"Well, I've noticed he's been making any excuse to hang around
engineering. Around you."Paris
"Freddy Bristow...is a child."B'Elanna
"Oh, really? Well,He looks like a grown-up to me. Tall,
good-looking...And I hear he plays a mean set of Parisses'
Squares."Paris
"I played one game with him and I whipped him. Look, he has a
crush on me. I can handle it. Why are you so interested?"
B'Elanna
"Oh, I'm just curious...How someone with Klingon blood seems
to live the life of a Tabarn monk." Paris
"Leuitenant, that is none of your business."B'Elanna
"Well, if you ever have a free minute I have a holodeck program
you might enjoy. Sailing on Lake Como."Paris

(Voyager has just discovered a wormhole that may lead
to the Alpha Quadrant)
"Captain's Log Supplemental. I've been asked to join Leuitenant
Torres and Ensign Kim in the Science Lab, to hear what they
have termed as very exciting news."Janeway
"We've been able to confirm that the wormhole does lead to
the Alpha Quadrant."Harry
"The problem is that on this end it's jumping from point to
point so quickly that even at maximum warp by the time we got
to it's next probably location, it would be gone."B'Elanna
"So, we were thinking if you can't bring the ship to the wormhole.
Bring the wormhole to the ship. We've detected a subspace
instability at our current location as a result of the wormhole's
last appearance here."Harry
"If we could somehow amplify and polarize that instability. We
might be able to get the wormhole to reappear."B'Elanna
"Sort of like using a magnet to move a compass needle. The
question is how do we polarize the instability?"Janeway
"We haven't figured that part out, yet."Harry

I've been having these dreams. They're very intense.

"So they're enjoyable? Stimulating?" Chakotay
"They're the most sensual dreams I've ever had in my life and
they feel absolutley real." B'Elanna
"I don't suppose you've been dreaming about anybody in
particular" Chakotay
"Nobody you know. Well, actually he's nobody I know either.
He's Enaran." B'Elanna
"One of our passengers?" Chakotay
"No! No. In the dreams, I know him. More than that I'm in love
with him. But it's not really me in the dream. It's somebody
else entirely. In a way it's liberating." B'Elanna
(Chakotay and B'Elanna laugh)
"I'm sure. So I assume I'm going to have to write up a report
on your chronic oversleeping." Chakotay
(B'Elanna stops laughing abruptly)
"If you say a word about this to anyone..." B'Elanna
"I know. You'll rip my heart out and eat it raw. Your
secret's safe with me."Chakotay

(B'Elanna has just woken up her arms and legs are
tied together when two guys walk in)
"Where are we?" B'Elanna
"This one looks like an Indian, and that one, I don't know what
her story is." Guy One
"What's that thing on her head?" Guy Two to B'Elanna
(B'Elanna doesn't look very happy about this comment)
(Goes to touch B'Elanna's forehead, she growls at him
and the guy jumps back)
"Careful, Bud. She looks like a fighter"Guy One

(Paris has just made the holodeck program a little more interesting)
(Someone walks into the holodeck and Neelix looks to see if it is Kes)
"Ah. Hello, B'Elanna."Neelix, sadly
(The person is B'Elanna and she is dressed for swimming)
"Good to see you, too."B'Elanna
"I was hoping you'd be Kes. She was supposed to meet me here
20 minutes ago. It's not like her to be late."Neelix
"She must have gotten held up with some work."B'Elanna
"I wasn't sure you'd enjoy the program with the new modifications
Harry and Tom added."Neelix
"Well, I've made a few modifications of my own."B'Elanna
(A guy walks over in a tight bathing suit
and put a towel on her shoulders)
"Thank you."B'Elanna to the guy
"Great program, Neelix."B'Elanna, as she leaves with the guy
The Q and the Grey
(Female Q runs into engineering)
(She is arrogant and annoying through whole scene)
"Well?"Female Q impatiently
"Well, what?"B'Elanna
"Are you finished yet?"Female Q
"What you've asked us to do requires a complete reconfiguration
of the shield array. It takes a while. For us mere mortals,
that is."B'Elanna getting increasingle more annoyed
"Surely there's some way you could speed up the process?"Female Q
"If you're in such a hurry, why don't you just snap your fingers
and do it yourself?"B'Elanna
(Snaps fingers in an imitation of the Q)
"Oh, that's right. You've lost your powers and you need our
help."B'Elanna
"I don't think you understand. It's imperiative that I get back
to the coninuum before Q mates with your captain."Female Q
"I understand perfectly. You are the first female who's ever had
a male run out on her."B'Elanna
"I hope your not comparing some failed romance in your pityful
existence to my eternal association with Q?"Female Q
"You know, I have really had it with this superiority complex
of yours."B'Elanna
"It's not a complex, Dear. It's a fact."Female Q
(B'Elanna goes right up to her face to say the next line and
when she's done goes to work at a consule)
"Well, here's another fact: If you don't stop pestering me I'm
never going to finish. In which your association with Q may
not be quite as eternal as you think."B'Elanna
"You know, I've always liked Klingon females. You've got
such...spunk."Female Q
(B'Elanna gives her a look that could make the
most powerful Q cringe)
Macrocosm
(B'Elanna has just been infected by a macrovirus, in a gelpack
[looks like jello] which causes nausea, fever, and eventually
unconsciousness after fly-like things jump out of their necks
"Well, so much for lunch. " Tom
(B'Elanna looks a little nauseous and winces at the thought of
food and from pain)
"I may never look at food again " B'Elanna says very weakly
"I thought Klingons didn't get nauseated. You have a redundant
stomach." Tom
"Well, right now they're both unhappy." B'Elanna
(B'Elanna gasps in pain and two flies fly out of her neck and
she loses consciousness)

"Me, too. Let's find us a spot. This place is filling up fast."Paris
(Vorik clears his throat)
"I have already taking the liberty of reserving a table, Leuitenant.
With a view of the lakeside. You did express a fondness for that
particular Vista."Vorik
"I did?"B'Elanna questionly
"Five days ago. In a conversation we had in Engineering. Regarding
Holodeck programs."Vorik
"I guess, maybe I did." B'Elanna questionly
"Good memory."Paris
"Of course."Vorik
"Well, then Ensign. Let's go."B'Elanna
Coda
(Janeway has just "died" and the crew is at her funeral, her "ghost"
is watching what happens)
(B'Elanna paces all around the room while saying this, like
it's hard to say, as if she will start crying at any second)
"When I came to this ship, I resented the fact the Captain Janeway
was responsible for our being stranded here in the Delta Quadrant.
I didn't think that she made the right decision and I certainly
didn't want to serve under her command. In the beginning I fought
her. Even when she made me cheif engineer, I..."B'Elanna, sadly
(B'Elanna laughs slightly at this thought)
"I didn't trust her reasons. I kept looking for a hidden agenda.
I actually believed that she'd set me up to fail. Well, I
couldn't have been more wrong. She saw...She saw something in me
that I didn't see...she saw a worthwhile person, where I saw a
lost and hostile misfit. And because she had faith in me, I began to
have faith in myself and when she died, the fist thing I thought was
that I couldn't do this without her, that I needed her to badly--
some of Her strength and her compassion But then I
realized..."B'Elanna, sadly
(B'Elanna's voice cracks as she fights not to cry)
"...That the gift that she gave me--and gave a lot of us here--was
the knowledge that we are better and stronger than we think. I wish
I had said these things to her. I wish I had taken the
time."B'Elanna, sadly
(B'Elanna puts her head down and walks away, so no one sees her cry)
Blood Fever
(B'Elanna breaths heavily throughout the scene)
"What's this?"B'Elanna
"The tremor must have shaken the rocks loose."Paris
"Well, they're in the way."B'Elanna
(Paris tries to grab the gun from B'Elanna)
"Hold it. We don't know how stable this tunnel is. An
energy blast might bring the rest of it down on our
heads."Paris
"Let go!"B'Elanna
"No. I think I should keep this."Paris
"Never pick a fight with a Klingon, Tom."B'Elanna
"I'm not going to fight with you, B'Elanna."Paris
"Afraid I'll break your arm? You should be."B'Elanna
(B'Elanna starts trying to fight Tom)
(Paris grabs her arm)
"B'Elanna, stop it! This isn't about the gun. This is about
sex. But that's not going to happen right now."Paris
"I think it is."B'Elanna
(B'Elanna starts licking Tom's face where she bit him)
"I've picked up your scent, Tom. I've tasted your blood."B'Elanna
"No. No, I'm your friend. And I have to watch out for you when
your judgement's been impaired. If you let these instincts take
over now you'll hate yourself and me, too, for taking advantage
of you. I won't do that."Paris
(B'Elanna starts panting an awful lot)
"Maybe...maybe we should continue separately."B'Elanna
"No."Paris
"You don' understand how strong...how hard it is...to fight
this...urge."B'Elanna
"Are you telling me that I'm impossible to
resist?"Paris, sarcastically
"I wouldn't go that far."B'Elanna, a bit of her old sense
of humor returning
"Good."Paris
(Paris throws the pack at B'Elanna and she gets excited)
"Come on."Paris
(They go off together)
Unity
(Chakotay and B'Elanna are going back to the ship after he
has been helped by and has stayed with some Borg)
"You okay?"B'Elanna
(Chakotay nods, but says nothing)
"What you need is a good thrashing on the hoverball court,
to get your mind off things."B'Elanna
"You're on."Chakotay
"Good, I'll reserve some Holodeck time as soon as we're
back."B'Elanna
"Chakotay, can you hear us?"Borg, only Chakotay con hear them
"Did you say something?"Chakotay
"No."B'Elanna
"Are we getting a comm transmission?"Chakotay
"No. Why?"B'Elanna
"Must have been my imagination."Chakotay
"You sure your okay?"B'Elanna
"I'm fine."Chakotay
"Chakotay, we need your help."Borg, only Chakotay can hear them
"Chakotay?"
"We need your help."Borg, only Chakotay can hear them
"I'm going to tell the Doctor he needs to take a look at you
as soon as we get back. Torres to Sickbay."B'Elanna
"Don't do that."Chakotay
(Chakotay pulls out a phaser and aims it at B'Elanna)
"Chakotay, give me the phaser."B'Elanna
(Chakotay shoots her with the phaser and she screams
and loses consciousness)
Darkling
(B'Elanna has just lost consciousness and is on a biobed in Sickbay)
(The Doctor's psychotic alter ego is out to play)
(The Doctor gives her a shot with a hypospray and she wakes up)
"How are we feeling?"Doctor
"What happened?"B'Elanna
"I shot you full of catoline, simulated anaphylatic
shock."Doctor
"Why?"B'Elanna
"I had to cover my tracks especially from him, from your
Doctor."Doctor
"You're a new peronality...from the subroutines."B'Elanna
"A little bit of this, a little bit of that."Doctor
(B'Elanna goes to hit her communicator, but its not there)
"Did you think I wouldn't have anticipated that?"Doctor
(B'Elanna tries to get off the bed, but can't move her legs)
"Or that you'd try to run away?"Doctor
"What have you done? I can't move my legs."B'Elanna
"Intra-spinal inhibitor. I've paralyzed you from the waist
down."Doctor
(B'Elanna attacks the Doctor until her next line)
"You're now in my capable hands. Central nervous system,
musculature, endocrine functions, your brain -- all under
my control."Doctor
"Why?"B'Elanna
"Because I need your cooperation and I didn't think you'd
offer it willingly."Doctor
"You're in trouble, aren't you? The subroutines that created
you -- they're already starting to degrade."B'Elanna
(The Doctor gives B'Elanna a shot from a hypospray and her whole body
is completly paralyzed, including her speech capabilities)
"Stop. Watch your tongue...or I'll remove it. Look...it's
me. But it's also him. "What is the nature of the medical
emergency?" What a hollow excuse for a life. Servile,
pathetic at the beck and call of any idiot who invokes his
name. The thought of it sickens me. You are going to tell me
how to delete him from the program. I've unblocked your speech
center, answer the question."Doctor
(B'Elanna's whole body is still completely paralyzed and her speech is
so extremely slurred that is almost impossible to understand
what she is saying)
"Delete the Doctor... and you go to. The subroutines are
all interconnected."B'Elanna, her speech extremly slurred
(The Doctor caresses B'Elanna's face while he says his next line)
"The physiology of pain is simple to much and the organism
loses consciousness -- if that mechanism were chemically
suppressed one would experience agony beyond imagining. If
you're lying to me..."Doctor
"I...won't...help you."B'Elanna, her speech still extremely
slurred
(The Doctors moves away and he shimers out and then back into existence)
"What was that?"Doctor
"Your subroutines are distabilizing."B'Elanna, her speech still
extremely slurred
"There has to be some way to stop it. Tell me!"Doctor
"By the time you force that information out of me it'll be too
late."B'Elanna, her speech still extremly slurred
"Them...my progenitors -- they'll know, they'll reveal the
secret. I won't be needing you after all."Doctor
(The Doctor gives B'Elanna a shot with the hypospray
and she loses consciousness)

(B'Elanna has just regained consciousness after a nearly fatal accident
in engineering, she acts like she is still slightly drugged)
"Doctor, she's regaining consciouness."Kes
"Good morning, Leuitenant."Doctor
"Morning? What am I doing here?"B'Elanna
"There was an accident in engineering. A plasma conduit
exploded."Kes
"I've treated you for second and third degree burns and several
broken ribs. I expect you'll make a full recovery."Doctor
(B'Elanna goes to sit up and groans)
"After you spend at least one more day in Sickbay."Doctor
"This time, Doctor, I'm not going to argue with you."B'Elanna
(Harry walks over, he has spots on his face, and leans over
B'Elanna, so she can see him)
"Harry. What happened to your face?"B'Elanna
"We're still trying to figure that out?"Harry
(B'Elanna grimaces as she trys to roll over to see him better)
"It's kind of cute, makes you look like a speckled targ."B'Elanna
(B'Elanna laughs and then starts to cough)
"B'Elanna..."Harry
"Huh..."B'Elanna
(She continues to cough until next line)
"I'm really sorry you got hurt."Harry
"Hey, it's all part of the adventure of space travel,
right?"B'Elanna
"I know, but um..."Harry
"What? What is it?"B'Elanna
"Never mind. I'm glad you're going to be all right."Harry
(B'Elanna laughs)
"Thanks."B'Elanna
"I'm afraid I'm going to have to cut visiting hours short.
Ensign, you can go. I'll contact you with the results of my
analysis."Doctor
"Take care of yourself."Harry
"See you later, Spot."B'Elanna
Before And After
(Kes is living her life backwards)
(Kes walks into the holodeck and goes to Paris, he was her husband
in the alternate reality she had just been in, Janeway and B'Elanna
had been dead in this reality and she doesn't know who they are, so
she doesn't recognize them when she sees them. Also, B'Elanna and
Tom are engaged)
"Tom..."Kes
"Hey, Kes! Some party, huh?"Tom
"I have to talk to you."Kes
"Tom...I'm sorry I'm late."B'Elanna
(B'Elanna and Tom kiss)
"You must be B'Elanna."Kes, guessing at who she is seeing
(Tom and B'Elanna laugh, and then Kes joins in to make
it seem that she was joking when she didn't recognize B'Elanna)
"Well, the last time I checked."B'Elanna, a little to happily
"Is something wrong?"Tom
"Actually...There is something wrong."Kes
(All of a sudden the ship shakes)
"Red alert. All hands to battle stations."Janeway
(Tom and B'Elanna look at each other a worried,
they then leave with Kes following them.)
(A ship attacks Voyager)
"Tuvok, fire phasers."Janeway
"Acknowledged."Tuvok
(The ship attacks Voyager again)
"Who the hell are they?"Chakotay
(Kes, Tom, and B'Elanna walk in)
"They're called the Krenim."Kes
"How do you know that?"Janeway
"Captain Janeway?"Kes, guessing at who the person
she is seeing is.
"What is it, Kes? What do you know about them?"Janeway
(The ship attacks Voyager again)
"Shields down to 39%, Captain."Tuvok
"I don't understand how these torpedoes are ripping
right through our shields."Chakotay
"Evasive manuevers, Mr. Paris."Janeway
(She walks over to the Bridge's Engineering Console,
where B'Elanna is)
"B'Elanna, can we reroute power to the forward shields?"Janeway
"I'm already trying."B'Elanna
"Captain, these torpedoes are chroniton based. They are
passing through our shields because they are in a state of
temporal flux."Kes
(B'Elanna looks at her like she knows somethings going to happen.)
(A shot hits the ship and the console B'Elanna and Janeway are
working blows up and throws them across the bridge, Kes runs
to them but its obvious they are dead)
"They're dead..."Kes, checking Janeway and B'Elanna
(Chakotay runs to Janeway and Tom runs to B'Elanna)
"B'Elanna!"Tom, as he holds her
Real Life
(Paris is looking at the food Neelix is offering)
"Nothing striking your fancy, Lieutenant?"Neelix
"Isn't this the fourth day in the row we've had the same
casserole?"Paris
"Pleeka rinds and grub meal. Very tasty, if I don't say
so myself."Neelix
"Well, you did a great job with it, no question. It would
just be nice to have a little variety."Paris
"Well, Your perfectly free to use the replicators."Neelix
"Um, I'm out of rations."Paris
"Uh. Then...enjoy the casserole."Neelix
(Paris sees B'Elanna sitting by herself and goes to her)
"A beautiful woman should never have to eat alone."Paris
(B'Elanna tries to hide what she's reading)
"What are you reading?"Paris
"It's nothing important."B'Elanna
(B'Elanna tries to stop him from taking it, but he gets it)
"Woman Warriors at the River of Blood?"Paris
"It's just...escapist reading."B'Elanna
"Rorg turned his fierce eye upon her. M'Nea felt her heart
begin to quicken even as her hand went to her dagger."Paris
(B'Elanna looks moved by this story)
"She had intended to plunge it into his throat. But
something about him made her hesitate. B'Elanna, is this a
Klingon Romance Novel?"Paris
"Klingons do have what you might call a romantic side. It's
a bit more vigorous then most."B'Elanna
"I think I'll read it. Maybe it'll give me some ideas on how
to make your heart quicken."Paris
"It's not a technical manual, Tom."B'Elanna
"Well, that depends on what you mean by "technical"."Paris
"To an engineer that means. . . "Specializing in particular
systems"."B'Elanna
"I think that definition works."Paris
"Well, I can't promise I won't put a dagger in your
throat."B'Elanna
(Tom laughs)
"Have you heard about the doctor's new family?"B'Elanna
"How's it going?"Paris
"I think he was a little overwhelmed at first, but I have
to give him credit. He's sticking with it."B'Elanna
"It's a little hard to imagine the Doctor with children."Paris
(They start laughing together and then the ship shakes and
they're summoned to the bridge)

since she is suffering from Hypothermia)
"I didn't think we went this far from the porthole." B'Elanna
(B'Elanna legs give out, she screams, and she falls)
"Ahh! I don't think I can go on any farther." B'Elanna
(Tom helps B'Elanna up and helps her walk)
"You have to keep moving." Paris
"Oh, I'm so sleepy." B'Elanna
(B'Elanna goes to lean against the wall)
"No, B'Elanna, get up." Paris
"No, you go on I'm just going to rest here." B'Elanna
(B'Elanna goes to fall asleep)
"You do that you'll die." Paris
"No, I'll be fine. I just have to close my eyes for
a minute." B'Elanna
(B'Elanna falls asleep)
"Oh no, I'm not going to let you do this. On your
feet now, Torres. That's an order." Paris
(Paris picks B'Elanna up)
"You can't give me orders. We're the same rank." B'Elanna
"I'm a bridge officer and I have seniority." Paris
"Oh yeah, by about two days." B'Elanna
(B'Elanna starts to faint)
"On your feet now! Come on, you've been wanting to
take a swing at me for days. Now's your chance." Paris
(B'Elanna looks at him, drunkenly)
"Your just trying to keep me moving." B'Elanna
"You will keep moving. Or do I have to throw you over
my shoulder and carry you out?" Paris
"Don't even try it." B'Elanna
(Tom grabs B'Elanna to him to throw her over his shoulder)
(They are beamed into the middle of the Federation environment
and look very embarrassed)
Worst Case Scenario
(B'Elanna is looking around a corridor of the ship,
when Chakotay walks up to her)
"Where are you headed?" Chakotay
"The bridge." B'Elanna
"Mind if I walk with you?" Chakotay
"Not at all." B'Elanna
"So, how's it going?" Chakotay
"Not bad, I guess." B'Elanna
"Tuvok still giving you a hard time?" Chakotay
"No more than usual." B'Elanna
"I don't know about you, but when I think about spending 70
years in the ship with that guy it gives me a headache.
I get the impression that a lot of the crew agrees with me.
Maquis and Starfleet." Chakotay
(They enter the Turbolift)
"Bridge. So what do you think?" Chakotay
"About what?" B'Elanna
"About what I've been saying. That a lot of the crew aren't
too happy with our chief of security. For that matter, I
don't think Captain Janeway is winning any popularity
contests, either. Don't you agree?" Chakotay
"Why do I get the feeling that you're testing me?" B'Elanna
"Let's just say I'm interested in your opinion." Chakotay
"Why?" B'Elanna
"You're a good officer. I like you. And I wouldn't want to
see you get hurt." Chakotay
"Computer halt turbolift. Look, what's this all about?" B'Elanna
"There are going to be some changes around here. All of the
Maquis are in line and about twenty- five of the Starfleet crew
are with us." Chakotay
"Are you saying there's going to be a mutiny?!" B'Elanna
"And when the shooting starts. I'm going to need to know which
side your on." Chakotay
