Hello again. I haven't written a new journal in awhile because I've been on spring break. I had a great vacation, although I feel like it was too short because it went by so quickly. In my last journal I mentioned that I would be working on a new book about my life during the break. We came up with a title for the book, it's going to be called Landing on my feet: A Diary of Dreams, and it should be out around November.
I tried to stay pretty busy during my break. I did some traveling and went to a lot of great events. Some of the more interesting things I did included: going to the Space Center in Houston to give a speech, going to the PAC-10 gymnastics Championships in Tucson, and visiting New York City (one of my favorite places to visit). But the highlight of my trip might have been meeting Muhammad Ali. On March 19, I was in Phoenix for an event called "Fight Night III." The dinner was to benefit Muhammad Ali's fight against Parkinson's Disease. It was quite an honor to meet such a fascinating and courageous man.
Arizona/School
I want to say congratulations to the Arizona Wildcats on winning the NCAA tournament. I've been a big fan of Arizona's ever since I was little. I'm very excited, but not entirely surprised. I thought that they we're going to do well, that's why I picked them to go to the final four!
Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to see any of the game. On Monday night, I had a function to attend for my sorority. The name of my sorority is Kappa Alpha Theta. Right now I'm in the process of "pledging," but I hope to be a full member by the end of the semester. I'll speak to you again soon.
