We will include reviews of the albums that we have purchased. More pictures will also be included soon. Enjoy the page!!
Enigma is a unique hypnotic form of music that was perfected by one man, Michael Cretu. This music lifts the soul and puts the listeners mind at ease.
Enigma's 1st album entitled "MXMXC a.d.", released in 1990, is a unique combination of inspirational Gregorian chants with a modern Euro-pop beat. It provides the listener with an up-lifting type of music that will inspire and relax them.
Enigma's 2nd album called "The Cross Of Changes" is quite different from the 1st. It concentrates on more world music. The beats are more centered around traditional instruments of different groups of people. It also allows the listener to sit back and enjoy it's relaxing melody.
Their first, self-titled album "Deep Forest" combines the haunting voices of the Pigmies from Central Africa with hi-tech electronic beats. This album is ideal for those dance freaks.
Deep Forest's 2nd album called "Boheme" concentrates on European culture mixed with some Taiwanese music. Like the 1st album, it uses electronic beats to combine with the exotic voices. Yet, this album is quite different in style from the 1st one.
Their 1st album "Fiesta Fatal" is a very up-beat style of ambient music. Many fast-paced beats are used in this album. On the most part, this album is one for dance clubs. A lot of flamenco guitar samples are used in this album. It's quite enjoyable.
B-Tribe's 2nd album is much more layed-back than the 1st. It's also quite different because it uses slow-tempo drum beats (like Deep Forest's 'Sweet Lullaby'). One other thing that makes it different is that it involves singing in English (similar to Madonna's music). For those who like B-Tribe, this is a good selection to get!
