News-November 19, 1997
It's after midnight again and I am updating the site while listening to the TITANIC soundtrack because I got a lot of news yesterday! I am so dedicated to all of you and you are sooo lucky to have me. :)
Also, there is a WONDERFUL picture in the Titanic CD behind where the cd is kept. It is a photo of Leo in the freezing water and Kate in her life jacket! Their hair is full of ice because of the cold! It's a coooool picture! I love it!
Have I got news for all Leonardo Fans! There is a new OFFICIAL LEONARDO
DiCAPRIO PAGE. Notice the OFFICIAL! The address is
http://www.leonardodicaprio.com
I saw this on the Official Titanic Web page. This new Leonardo page is
still under construction, but seems very good. I'm not sure when the
site will have stuff on it (I hope soon.)

I am so mad. I went to the Best Buy today to get the soundtrack and
Celine's album--they had the album, but they said that they didn't have
the soundtrack. So, I called them in the evening to find out about the
release date for the soundtrack, and the manager said that the CD was
actually IN, somebody in the store gave me the wrong info :( And I have
no time to go there tomorrow. So, I have to wait till Thursday.
What does the cover look like???? Are there any pictures in the booklet?
I've listened to "My Heart Will go On" like 20 times today :) But this
is Celine's album version. How do you like the soundtrack version? Which
one is better?
---Slava
I am such an idiot. Well, not really me, but my friend Jasmine over here. I
was all psyched to see it; and then Poof! I get a call from Jasmine saying,
"The cast of Titanic the play is going to be on Rosie!" I seriously want to
kick her. Please post this up as soon as possible, because I don't want to
get anymore e-mails saying I was wrong! Bye!
---Abigail
I bought the new Titanic soundtrack today (november 18th) and I
listened to it over and over again. I feel it expresses the emotions in the
movie very well. I have the script and I know how the movie goes and this
soundtrack brought shivers up my spine when I associate them both together
(the movie and the soundtrack.) The inside cover has color and black and
white pictures of Leo and Kate and underneath where the CD sits, there is a
picture of Leo and Kate towards the end of the movie and the lyrics to "My
Heart Will Go On" (love theme from Titanic). Overall...I feel very pleased
with this CD and I suggest that any Leo, Kate, or Titanci fan should buy it!
---STyLiN6521@aol.com
I just
wrote to say that Leo was on
ET today and he was in the London premiere of Titanic.
It talks about more
special effects of the
movie and what he did when he met Prince Charles.
---magic
I was watching Access Hollywood in attempts that they would have something on
Leo. Tonight, for the first time in a while they did! They had about a 5
minute subject on Titanic. It showed about 3 different clips of it (Leo and
Kate kissing, and 2 of the ship sinking). I was really excited to see the
movie, but now I am in suspense!
---Anon
Last night I just happened to be watching Entertainment Tonight, and one of
their very first segments was on Leo and Titanic. They showed scenes from
Titanic that have never been shown on tv before, including a scene of Leo
doing some kind of dance (It was so adorable), and another scene of him all
dressed up sitting with Kate Winslet and her family in the movie having
dinner with them. I can't wait to see it, it looks so good. I am guessing Leo
will probably be on Entertainment Tonight again today or tomorrow since the
London premiere of Titanic was supposed to be today. So keep an eye out for
him!
I know I sent a message earlier saying that Leo may be on Entertainment
Tonight again today, well he was. They actually did a little interview with
him. He said he wondered how he ever got to where he is today (duh Leo look
at yourself and your acting..whoo hoo!) and that he must be doing it right
to get royalty at his premiere. You could see all the screaming girls in the
backround screaming as he came out. Gee I wonder why! He seemed to be kind of
embarrassed about that. Those girls seemed brutal too! They were screaming at
him trying to get a picture. Anyways, I would watch Entertainment Tonight all
this week because so far they have had a segment about Titanic everyday.
---Sarah
I was sick today, so I saw Rosie at 11:00...lucky me. It was great how
Celine Dion said that she bought all that food for the movie, but didn't
have any time to eat because all 3 hours and ten minutes of Titanic stole
her breath away. And her new song for the movie is beautiful. I taped all
of Rosie if anyone wants a copy. Just write me.
Also, ey, what's up? I just have to quickly say that SNL sucked so hard, but not
because of the fabulous Claire. It's been awful for a really long time.
Since Eddy Murphy and John Beluchi, etc. stopped. So, basically I'm saying
that it's the writers that suck and not so much the actors.
---Steph
Yay!!!!! Celine mentioned Titanic on Rosie!(actually Rosie brought it
up) She said she absolutely loved it and that it will take your breath
away! It's also 3 hours and 10 (B's addition--actually 3 hours and 14 minutes) minutes long. Yay! Good publicity!
---Emily
On E! news daily, they showed an exclusive clip from Titanic. It had Leo
dressed up in a tux escorting Rose(Kate)to dance and to meet her fiance. It's
actually a rather funny scene.
---Lulu
What is the other song from the Titanic sountrack (besides "My heart will go on")
that is on the latest Celine Dion's album?
---Claudia
B would like to know that also.
News-November 18, 1997
I bought the Titanic soundtrack and Celine Dion's new album today, but I haven't gotten the chance to list to most of it yet! Also, please email me at leotitanic@hotmail.com for any news or comments during this week since I won't be at my normal computer most of this week.
News-November 17, 1997
On the right is the cover of Celine Dion's new album which will be released tomorrow. picture is from this Celine Dion site. Celine Dion will be on Rosie tomorrow, not the cast of TITANIC.
I hope you can add this as soon as possible. Somebody wrote that the
cast of Titanic will be on Rosie O'Donnel Tuesday but it is the cast
of The Broadway Titanic NOT the movie! There will be a lot of
disappointed people out there! I am one of them!
---Anon
I saw a comment on your page about 1 hour special about "Let's Talk About
Love." Well, I am not sure if it was the same one but I saw a special on
VH1 yesterday about this new album, and Celine talked about "My hear will
go on," they showed many clips from the movie and the song was playing in
the background. It was awesome. If you missed it you can still catch it
on Wed. at 9 pm (EST?).
Celine sings two songs in this movie? I thought
she did just "My hear will go on."
---Slava
Did anybody tape SNL with Claire as the host? I fell asleep since I was sick
and I missed it. I kept kicking myself over it. So if anybody taped it I'll
pay you, I'll do anything!! E-mail me if you taped it or you know someone who
did. Please!

MTV has added to its
MSCL airings, now with runs from Nov 17-20, Nov 24-27 at 7:00PM and
an 11 episode marathon on Nov 28 from 8:00AM-7:00PM. The British
music magazine Select includes Claire in its list of the "100 Most
Important".
-News-November 9, 1997
Claire will be hosting Saturday Night Live on Saturday, Nov. 15th
with
musical guest Mariah Carey.
I'm still hoping someone can tape CINEMAX for me (*sigh*) BUT,
something
today did cheer me up. Though George Clooney (and not LEO!!) is the
"Sexiest Man Alive" for PEOPLE Magazine, and stole the cover...there is
70 pages on other cool guys... and they compare todays younger actors to
classic ones. OF COURSE, the have a page on LEO where they comapre him
to James Dean. There is some other cool people in there too! Check it
out!

I don't know if anyone remembers, but a while ago, someone posted a
message
saying that both of the R&J CDs were sold together packaged in a box with
six
postcards at HMV. Well, I went there last week and one of the boxes were
open. I
pulled the postcards out and found that they are the six pictures found
in the
downloadable screensaver at the official R&J website.
They are bigger than the usual postcard size and of very good quality,
but I would
not buy the CDs again for the postcards. They were $42.99 (Canadian) Just
thought
I'd let you know.
--- K
Ok, since it's illegal for somebody to tape the R+J special on
Cinemax and
sell it to me, instead I'll be willing to trade either a blank video
cassette in return, the "Romeo" and "Juliet" postcards that came out of a
magazine, or possibly a brandnew Despair or Fishtank poster. Somebody
PLEASE
e-mail me with an offer, I'm desperate here!
The Hollywood USA (http://hollywood-usa1.com/) web site is up and
running now. (The place in California that sells lots of R+J stuff) I
kept getting script errors though when I tried to go into some sections
of the site. Does anybody else have this problem?? They also only accept
credit cards.

11th of November, this Tuesday It wil be,
A very special day..Leo turns 23,
with baby blue eyes, blond hair and cute buns,
its hard to believe your growing up when you still look so young!
This day is a holiday to me, because its to do with you,
My Tuesdays are normally boring, but their not now because of you,
I love you, I love you, forever and always...
This is my way of saying, Leo...Happy Birthday.
--- Emily
My face is tear-stained but happy for I have just read the script of
Titanic.
For those of you who haven't read it, wether you read it or not, the
movie
will be better than you can ever imagine. I am awaiting December 19th and
hope that you love the movie as much as I know I will. And B- thank you
so
much for your site! I visit it every day!
---Anon
I am having a little problem though. That
R&J behind the scenes thing is on November 14 right? I don't get
Cinemax. I need someone to tape it for me and have to find a way to ask
people.
I live in Vancouver, British Clolumbia, Canada and I don't get that
channel. I would love you if you taped it for me. On a blank tape of
course. I in return would return to you another blank tape, or anything
that you may want to tape from Canada. And I can
give you this magazine thing I got from the theaters. It is this
magazine
that the theaters put in their lobbies. NEWAYS it has this full page
pic of him from Titanic on the cover..a good one. And one on the
inside, another full page pic, of him in Titanic, with his hair slicked
black. Snd has a small pic of Claire Danes inside with that guy that
she's gonna be in that new movie with Rainmaker.

I'm a frequent user of your chat room but today I came onto it and it
won't
let me in. I get a message coming up saying I need to type in a password.
Is
this my computer playing up or can you help me on this?
--- Bella
Note from B---OH my gosh, I totally forgot I had a chat session until
this person emailed me with this problem. I personally had no problems
getting into the chat session tonight. I talked to Uma-ma from Canada
and Phipp§ tonight. I hope to be on the chat session more often this
week, so talk to ya in there.
I know I'm probably the 100th person to ask this...but, I live in
Texas but Cinemax is not an option on our cable. So...I was wondering if
someone could record it for me. Since so many people are asking, maybe a
few people could tape it and then hook up 2 VCRs a dub a few copies for
some of us!!!! I'm sure we'd all be willing to pay! Please let me know!

I just got my TITANIC poster pictured above! It is very beautiful and
the image is on both sides! Very cool! Orders yours today and tell
CLASSACT that "B" sent you!
I just got a card in my mail from Barnes and Noble saying that the
TITANIC book that I ordered will not be in until December. Anyone have
similar results?
Tonight, Claire Danes is at the premiere of the "Free Tibet" film,
chronicling the 1996 Tibetan Freedom Concert.
CELEBRITY BIRTHDAYS OF THE WEEK
The following information highlights celebrity birthdays from
Nov.
10-16:
Nov. 11, 1974 -- Leonardo DiCaprio. In Los Angeles, 23 years ago,
Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio was born. This rising
star can be seen in more than 10 movies, including
"William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet," "Marvin's
Room," "The Quick and the Dead," "What's Eating
Gilbert Grape" and "This Boy's Life."
Note from B---"Juliet Montague" (or "B") nor this website promote
the usage of selling copywritten material. I have posted these comments
maybe to help these people see the making of the "greatest love story
ever told."
I live in Canada and I was wondering if someone in the US to please

will pay you back).
---Tamara
If anyone could tape the making of R&J for my on Cinemax I would be
so
greatful. I'll pay if nessessary.
Please write back
---Steph
I was just wondering if anyone could tape or make a copy of the
making of Romeo and Juliet special on Cinemax. I live in Canada and I
don't
get that channel. I'll pay for the tape and the shipping because I really
want this. Also, I went to see the movie "Red Corner" and there was a
preview for Claire's new movie "The Rainmaker." Looks pretty good. While
I
was there I saw this magazine called "Tribute" and Leonardo is on the
cover
with a fair size article about Titanic on the inside AND an interview
with
Claire about "The Rainmaker." I picked up a few extra copies so if anyone
wants to make a trade, just e-mail me. We can work something out. Talk to
you later!

U.S. lawmakers tune into music violence A Senate panel looking into
possible connections

Antichrist. --from YAHOO!
This was said in the article: "While we approve of any forum
focusing on the serious and real problems faced by today's young
people, we passionately believe that most of the attacks on the lyrics of
the 1990s should be
categorized with those of the alarmed parents of 1950s teenagers in love
with Elvis," Rosen said,
adding that even "Romeo and Juliet" was about teen romance and
suicide.
'Summer' Calms Box Office Dropoff: Thanks largely to the amazing

The top 60 films grossed an aggregate of $60.3 million, compared with the
$62.2 million tally in
1996 when surprise hit "William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet"
led the pack.

I read in this magazine that I picked up free in the cinema the other
day "Flicks" that Leonardo DiCaprio is due to play a biophysicist who
developed the atom bomb in the movie entitled "Bombshell: The Secret
Study of America's Unknown Atomic Spy Conspiracy".
In the same magazine I also read that Claire Danes is going to play
the lead in "Brokedown Palace" a drama based on the story of two
British Girls jailed for drug smuggling in Thailand.
---R
Does anyone can tape me the making of "Romeo & Juliet", November 14,

Note from B---I update my Romeo and Juliet news page daily, but I
am trying to keep TITANIC stuff only on the TITANIC page at: http://www.oocities.org/Hollywood/9251/titanic.html! So, for the latest TITANIC
info, go to that site.
I hardly ever go to Kmart, but I went yesterday to get some
nailpolish
remover. I checked out the posters and I saw LEO! It's the fish tank
poster enlarged to lifesize horizontally. It only $3.99 which is pretty
worth it for Leo. So get your R & J poster if you haven't already! Oh,
and there's a picture of the poster of Titanic in Newsweek this week, so
if your parents get Newsweek and your too cheap(like me) to actually BUY
the poster, check it out. It's on pg. 8. And yesterday in the LA times
there was an article in the Calender section about Leo and Titanic and
how the film festival was in Japan so check that out too!
---Leoluver
""Titanic" director James Cameron said Monday he was relieved that
one of the most expensive
movies ever made was well-received at its world premiere in Tokyo. "I had
an instinct that the
Japanese audience would embrace a serious subject that had a strong
emotional component to it,
and from what I can tell so far from the initial reaction, it looks like
we were right," Cameron said at
a news conference in Tokyo. Cameron said high expectations and bad luck
pushed up production
costs and pushed back the release date for the disaster epic. He also
defended the reported $200
million that was sunk into the picture. The movie is set to make its
London premiere Nov. 18, and is
now scheduled to set sail in the United States on Dec. 19."
Reuters/Variety Entertainment Summary
Last night's Entertainment Tonight (ET) had a bunch of stuff on Leo
and TITANIC! Leo was talking and the girls in Japan were screaming when
we started talking. It was very funny! Titanic was the first segment
last night! Then, I flipped over to Access Hollywood and their second
segment was on the TITANIC with maily the same stuff as ET!
Tonight, ET is promising more on TITANIC so watch.
News-November 2, 1997
Note from B---I read the TITANIC script on the internet on
Saturday! It took me about 4 hours to go through it! YOu can find the
script at http://www.oocities.org/Hollywood/Boulevard/7960/rickyroma.htm. I
don't feel weird that I read the script! I don't really care that I will
know what will happen on screen. The script is very funny and while
reading it I was laughing in front of my computer. Should you read it?
Well, if you don't have time or don't want to know what happens, then
don't read it. Then, you can read it after you see it on December
19th.
On the E! gossip show they said that Leonardo was having a secret
relationship
with Helena Christenson (sp?), but to all Leo fans don't worry. That show
isn't
exactly the most truthful shows out there.
--- Lulu
I was watching the Gossip Show on E! this weekend and it had a little
segment
about Leonardo and how he has been wanting to keep his new relationship a
secret, but its out now. He is dating this supermodel named Elaina -
something
(I forgot her last name), and I guess he has been dating her for awhile
too.
So Leo's mystery woman is no longer just a rumor. (Ok, everyone can start
weeping now).

Hello all, I just got my issue of entertainment weekly in the mail

guess what is on the cover. A big pic of the Titanic. There is a long
article about the movie that is very interesting. They talk very little
about the actors but it is worthy to check out. Thought I'd let you
know.

Now that it is Nov, I felt we should keep in mind some very important
dates:
This week--Ralph at ClassAct gets other TITANIC posters in stock
Nov. 6--VCR Alert John Leguizamo will be on NBC's "Later"
Nov. 7--Official TITANIC site opens with a plethura of stuff.
Nov. 11--It's Leonardo DiCaprio's B-day! How old will he be? 23?
Nov. 18--Make waves to Best Buy and purchase your TITANIC soundtrack.
Also, buy Celine Dion's album "Let's Talk About Love" which has track 3
as the song "My Heart Will Go On." This is the end-title song of the film
TITANIC.
Toward the end of the month--Look for appearances by the cast and
crew of TITANIC on talk shows.
I just got Leo's Cult Newsletter. To sign up Email: LiLvOiCeS2@aol.com.
Hi, I was thinking of starting a small R+J Fan Club/mailing list. If
you are

I
Love You Not" yesterday. It was really great! I thought it was sad. Any

Hi, I really love your site, but I think its really uncool when you
put
things like the end to I Know What You Did Last Summer on it. First of
all, it has nothing to do with Romeo and Juliet, second, no matter how
dumb it is, I'm dying to see it, and it totally ruined it to heard the
end. I didn't even come to your site for like 2 weeks cause i was
waiting for it to be replaced with new news. I'm sorry to bitch but that
really bugs me. Other wise your site is my absolute favorite.
--- Emilie
Note from B---Buffy dying is far from the end of the movie. I did
not tell the ending because she was just a menial character in the movie.
If you are so upset now, wait until Scream 2 comes out....many of your
favorite *actors* will be axed. Will Buffy have the same fate in Scream
2? What about Jada Pinkett, Jerry O'Connel, Cotten Weary, and Lori
Metcalf?
