You've Got Mail
Opened December 19, 1998
You've Got Mail stars Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks in their third pairing together. Ryan plays Kathryn, owner of a children's bookstore, "The Shop Around the Corner," that her deceased mother used to own. Hanks plays Joe Fox, co-owner of a Fox Books Superstore that has built around the corner from Kathryn's place. Each has a strong dislike for each other. At least that's what they thought. They both have an e-mail buddy whose name they don't know and have never met. None other than each other. As Fox Books grows, The Shop Around the Corner sinks closer and closer to closing up. This movie is WAY better than I make it out to be. Just go see it!!!
