An Angel's Love

"Wake up, sweetie," "Hmmm?" I looked up and saw Mike's devilish face. "Hi," I said sleepily, "does the head need someone for a job?" "Sort of, only it's not the head, it's the monarch," he creased his forehead. I knew that wasn't a good sign. I sighed. "Now what?" "She wants someone to look over five guys," he replied. He looked very sorrowful, I wondered why, "I think they're called the Backstreet Boys.....I'm not sure....she was stuffing her face with cookies when she said it." He grinned. That made me feel so much better. Mike picked me up and said,"Get dressed your going down there in about an hour. See you at breakfast." With that he left.

I looked in the mirror, "My hair is a mess," I thought. I was really happy to have such a good friend like Mike Damus. Marty was his nickname, he was often very busy down at earth because he had a tv show. He was sweet and considerate. That was very hard to find in an angel. I was a guardian angel, some what different. Mike and I were good friends, he had his eye out for a witch named Sabrina. We were good friends, we had occasional dates, of course, when we had the time. I sighed and brushed my long brown hair. I picked up my halo and put it in my purse. I checked my wings for any bald spots. I slipped out of my pajamas and into a sky blue tank top and shorts(I got it at Aeropastle) and a pair of Adida sneakers. I put on two hoop earrings. I didn't put on make- up cause I simply hate it. The monarch says I should put it on because I makes me look more feminine. But I think, if a guy likes you, he likes you for who you are. Not because you looked like someone who stepped of a Maybeline commercial! I grabbed my purse and floated down. Marty's face was grave. He motioned me to him, but he looked so sad that I ran over and gave him a hug. He gave me a slight smile. I sat down next to him, and looked at the monarch. She was the round type of person. Yet, she was pretty. All angels are pretty or handsome. I don't know, if you were ugly, the person who you are supposed to watch over may ignore you. Ah, well, enough of my rambling.

"I heard that you want me to watch over five guys," I said. "Correct, they are five very talented gentlemen. They call themselves the Backstreet Boys. Their names are Nick Carter, 18, AJ McLean, 20, Brian Littrell, 23, Howie Dorough, 24, and Kevin Richardson, 26. Oh, and Nick has a little brother, his name is Aaron Carter. You have to watch over him to. The rest of the things are your responsibility. "Mmmm," I mumbled, "I was a fan for 5 years what wouldn't I know?" Luckily she didn't hear me. Inside, I was bursting with happiness. I was so excited that I almost chocked on the bacon. Mike noticed how happy I was and looked crestfallen. I was going to ask him what was bothering him but the monarch interrupted.
