An Angel's Love Part 7

"Good idea, Train," I said, glad to change the uncomfortable subject. "Let’s go to Mickey D’s!!!!" AJ jumped up and gave Howie a light punch. "C’mon, let’s go! Why are you guys all sitting around huh?" I heard Kevin grumble, "Again?" But he stood up and went along anyway. AJ stayed back and started to walk toward me. "Yo, Angela, that was just a joke, OK? You know I would never steal that spark that you and B-rok have with each other!" AJ explained. I thought, "Geez, I worry too much!" I gave AJ a hug, "Thanks Boner! C’mon, race you to the van!" As it turned out, I won. Aaron teased AJ saying, "You got beat by a girl!" AJ looked embarrassed for one second. He recovered by taking Aaron by his ankles and hanging him upside down. He tried to sound gruff and low, "So you wanna pick a fight?! I’ll give you one, lil’ buddy!" We all burst out laughing. "Hey, um guys, me and Angela are gonna go to a restaurant. So see you later!" Brian said. Kevin punched him in the arm and whispered in his ear, "I’m older than you, I should get married first!" Kevin pretended to look upset. Brian grinned, "Hahaha! Nah, Cuz, don’t think that far!"

With that he took my hand and waved farewell to the guys. We went back inside, took the elevator to the first floor. The limo was there waiting for us! Oh, he’s such a great guy he thinks ahead and plans too! "Hey, um, Angela, wanna go to Palm Restaurant?" B-rok inquired. "Sure!" His eyes sparkled brightly. Brian held the door open for me. As I sat down, I took in the smell of the leather seats. I realized that ever since I was an angel, I missed all of this. I missed doing everything that humans took for granted. Taking a shower, eating real food, the happiness, the love…….. "Angela? Are you OK?" he asked, worried. "Yeah I’m fine…" I sighed. Human life was luxurious. "ALRIGHTY THEN!" commanded Brian in his Jim Carrey voice. "HEAD TO PALM BEACH, PHIL!" I sat back and relaxed. We arrived there in a matter of minutes. "Thanks, Phil. Here," Brian took out a twenty and handed it to him. "Thank you, Mr. Littrell. I hope you don’t mind me asking, but don’t you need a body guard today?" "I’ve thought of that, Phil. BUT Angela’s with me!" he grinned. "Oh and were not going to go around too much. Thanks for your concern Phil!"

After the limo took off around the corner, I slipped my hand into his. A shiver went up my spine. He turned around and smiled. "It’s a little early for dinner, do you want to walk around?" I agreed. The atmosphere was beautiful. Lights surrounded us, and above us was the vast sky. The sun was setting, creating a beautiful picture.
