"What? What's going on?" she asked, she hated to be the last one to know things so she was very anxious to find out.
"I just kissed AJ, and he asked me out!!!!!!" I said, almost paaing out as I said it.
"Oh my god that's so cool!! Does Lindsay know yet?" she asked, with a concerned tone.
"No, I haven't told her yet. Why?" I asked in a confused voice.
"Cuz now she's the only single one, and you know she wants to hook up with Nick." she said.
"And I know Nick wants to hook up with her, but so does Kevin and that's not cool. I mean to have to guys fighting over you." I said.
"How do you know all of this?" she asked.
"My man has connections." I said laughing.
"Well, well, well." said I voice I knew to well.
"When did you plan on telling me that you hooked up with AJ?" asked Lindsay.
"When I saw you." I said, afraid she was going to start screaming.
"That's okay," she said, "So Nick likes me huh?" she said with a curious look in her eyes.
"Yep, and Kevin too." I replied.
"Well, I'll let Kevin down easy. I gotta go talk to Nick." she said, and then she ran out the door. After that, Heather and I wanted to see how well, are guys knew their songs. "Hey Heath," I said, "Let's see how well, AJ and Brian know the convo mix."
"Sure why not." she said.
"Hey guys can you come here?" Heather yelled.
"You rang?!" the two of them said in unison and in funny voices.
"Hey AJ, what kind of girl do you like?" I asked with a curious look.
"I like the kind of girl who'll let me do everyhting for her. Let me make you breakfast. Let me make you lunch. Let me make you dinner, baby. And after that, I'll just make ya happy." he said.
"And Brian how about you?" Heather said looking very anxious to see if he could do it too.
"I like a girl who is smart, who likes to go to school even. I like a girl with a good head on her shoulders." he said, with a proud look in his eyes.
"You guys are pretty good at that." I said, sounding very surprised.
"Yeah, well we heard you guys talking so......" said AJ.
"Shut up, Bone, you weren't supposed to tell them!" said Brian.
"Sorry, but could you lie to her?" he said, pointing to me.
"Maybe her, but not Heather." he answered.
Meanwhile, Lindsay was in the hallway with Nick. "So....." she said.
"Yeah, well, ok, um, uh. That's it! Okay here we go. Lindsay I think you're a great girl, and I would love it if you would be my girlfriend. So will you?" he asked, as he started to blush.
"Yes!" she said and gave him a huge hug. But as she let go he pulled her back and whispered, "I've been waiting for this since I saw you before." and he kissed her.
That night after the concert, AJ, Brian, Nick, Lindsay, Heather and I went out to dinner. We were meeting Howie and Kevin there to figure out how they were going to pull off their crazy schedule that they had the next day. "Why don't we go from the radio interview to the tv interview to the photo shoot and then to the concert." mentioned Howie. "Because if we did that, then we'd be late for the tv interview." said Kevin, he always had to point out the flaws in the groups' plans, I guess that's because he's a perfectionist. "Why would we be late?" asked AJ, "The radio interview is from 9:00am to 10:00am, and the tv interview is from 11:00am noon." added Brian. "But cous, it takes and hour and a half to get from the radio station to the tv station." answered Kevin. "Oh yeah. Well, I guess we'll just have to cancel the radio interview." said Brian with a smirk on his face. "Why would we cancel the radio interview, when we could just cancel the tv interview. I mean, we've been on Rosie already, we should really do another radio interview." said Nick trying to sound intellectual. "Yeah," said Brian, "But if we cancel the radio interview we get to sleep later." said Brian. "So what do you guys wanna do...get up ro sleep in?" asked AJ. "Sleep in." they all said in unison.
"Well, I'm getting pretty tired, I think I'm goin' ta bed. Ya comin' sweetie?" AJ asked me. "Yeah. I'll be up in a sec."
"Me too." added Brian, "Come on Heath, we can watch a little tv."
"Sure, why not." said Heather and the three of them headed to our connecting rooms.
"Well, I'm going up to the room," said Lindsay, "Are you coming, Nick?"
"Nah, not yet, I'm gonna go to the arcade." he said.
"I'll walk up with you Lynz." I said, as I got out of my chair.
When I got to my room I saw Heather, Brian, and AJ watching tv. "Hey Kate." said Heather. "Hey. What are you guys watching?"
"We taped 'Total Request' and we're seein' if we won or not." said AJ as he waved me toward the bed to sit down next to him. As we watched to see who the number 2 video was, I looked over at Heather and Brian. They looked so peaceful. Heather was lying on Brian's lap and Brian was saying something to her, I couldn't tell what though. I on the other hand, was sitting next to AJ with my arm around his waist and my head on his shoulder. AJ had his arm around me and he kept kissing my forehead, which I had no problem with.
"And for the number 2 video for the eighth day in a row," said Carson, "is the Backstreet Boys."
"Damn!" yelled AJ and Brian.
"What are you guys screamin' about?" asked Nick as he walked in the door.
"Look at the tv." said Brian.
"Cool we won. So why are you screaming?" he asked again.
"No, we're number 2. Those stupid NSync guys won again." said AJ through clenched teeth.
