They all got out of the car. AJ took Joy's suitcase, while Nick took Marie's. Nick decided to take a chance, so he grabbed her hand the two ran into the porch of the house to get away from the rain. Joy and AJ were right behind them.
Marie opened the door and let everyone in. Nick and were drying themselves off. "Sorry.. you guys are all wet!" Joy ran to a closet and in a few minutes. she came back with a bunch of towels. She toss of to AJ, Nick and Marie. Nick dried off his hair which water was dripping down hair.
AJ looked around the house. It was a huge house. There was at least 6 or 7 rooms. The living room had a chandler and a fire place and all. AJ and Nick dried off and just stood there. "We should leave," AJ suggested. "Come on Nick.." "No! You can't leave. Stay.. I mean... it's raining hard and the roads are slippery. I’m sure there's enough rooms for the two of you," Joy said. "Yeah, why don't you two spend the night here, leave tomorrow morning," Marie added.
Nick and AJ stared at each other. They were both jumping for joy inside, but acted cool outside. "Sure!" Nick shrugged. "Good!" Marie took Nick's hand and took him around the house to find a room for him to sleep in.
AJ and Joy were left alone in the living room. "Why don't you and Nick take your clothes off.. I mean.. change.." she couldn't seem to speak right tonight AJ smiled at her and laughed a little. "She's so cute when she stutters like that," AJ thought.
AJ and Joy talked awhile on the couch while Marie took Nick all over the house. "So which one do you want?" she asked him. Nick walked to a room and peaked his head inside. "This one." he said. "You can't!" "Why?" "Cuz, it's my room," she walked in and turned on the room light. "Can't we share?" he gave her a puppy dog face. "No... my parents are going to kill me!" Marie came closer to Nick. "But they're not here," a sly smile came across his face. "I know, but the will kill me if they find out." "They won't," Nick got closer and leaned down and kissed her. She kissed him back. "Nick, maybe we shouldn't," Marie pulled away from Nick. "Sorry," Nick pulled away from her. "Why did I say that? I'm so stupid! This cute guy just kissed me and I told him to back off?" Marie thought to herself. "She must have a boyfriend or something," Nick thought and got depressed.
Marie really liked Nick and he liked her. but they were both just too scared to admit it to themselves. He's never really been in love, and she's from a rich background. She's experienced and he's not... she could tell...
